Ferngully: love under the canopy

It was another hot and humid day in Ferngully, the fairies were still adjusting to having humans who wish to protect the rainforest from poachers and people who wished to cause harm to the rainforest or its inhabitants.

Sitting in a tree Crysta smiles as she watches from a far in a tree.

her human friends Zak and Budgie with her grandpa move into the resident area where they will be living with rangers who are a handful of people who sworn to keep the magical secret of this rainforest but in order to keep it protected with environmentalist help, the humans living here must use eco friendly energy for their electricity, and protect the animals while being careful not to disturb the natural order of the rainforest.

So far the humans and fairies have been getting along with the fairies giving the humans the ability to understand animals in Ferngully.

Zak chuckles as Budgie pets: Slasher the female doberman pinscher and Boof the male bullmastiff were running into the new house

"Hey Zak~"

Zak looks up and sees Crysta fly down to him "heya Crysta~ like how the house looks? Budgie wanted a fairy theme to fit in with the fairies around here "

Crysta smiles as she flies around the room. It looked like a fairy knothole like the fairy's of ferngully live in but more human size with human things like what Pips told her: TV and fridge as well as stoves.

"Hey Gramps, Budgie someone is here to say hi" Zak yells playfully as he grabs a box of stuff to put away.

"Crysta!~" The 12 year old girl comes running from the kitchen, following behind her is her grandpa.

"Well well hello there pixie~" Mr Jimmy says as he gives the fairy a friendly smile.

Crysta lands on Budgie's open hand and smiles "good to see you and Budgie too, do you three want a tour of the fairy village or did the rangers that protect the forest did that already?"

Just as Zak opened his mouth to say something a loud scream of "LEAVE ME ALONE" came from outside and a blur of an animal came flying in from the still open door and crashed into the wall and got covered with a blanket.

"Was that Batman?~" Zak jokes as he looks at the moving lump on the floor.

Crysta facepalms and nods "yep its Batty he looks a bit different since you last seen him Zak, our healers managed to remove some of the wires from his head so he doesn't have the antenna, but he still has a lot of wires we couldn't remove...hopefully we get a human animal healer here to look at him, but for some odd reason he's gotten bigger we think its the human experiments done on him"

Budgie picks up the lump and blanket "its ok Mr Bat, its me Budgie"

Everyone in the room couldn't help but laugh when Batty peeked out of the blanket, just like Crysta said he was bigger size from when Zak first saw him in which he could fit in his hand to looking like a medium size stuffy in Budgie's arms.

Crysta hovers over to her bat friend "Batty what's the matter..."

"There is a human IN A LAB COAT CHASING ME!!!" the bat yells as a boy teen in a lab coat comes rushing into the house with a net.

"There you are!" the dark brown hair teen yelled.

"hey! hey! Leave my bat friend alone! Who are you! And what do you want!" Zak yells standing in front of Budgie, Grandpa and Crysta.

"I want that lab bat! He needs to get looked at by the ranger vet! The fairy leader told me and my mom who's the ranger vet that the fairy healer's tried everything for that bat and his medical history!" the teen yells agitated.
