Sam pov
I was glad Anna finally agreed to meet Jess. I think it could be a really good thing for Anna to have a woman to go to and trust in her life. When I got to work one of the first things I did was go catch up with her.

"Good news Jess, Anna agreed to have dinner with us" I said. Jess lit up in a smile. She's only been hearing about her for a few months but I can tell she really cares about that girl. That's one of the reasons I love her so much, she's just so caring and genuine.

"that's great to hear! I'm really looking forward to meeting her" she smiled at me

"Yeah I know, uh I will go ahead and say she was a bit hesitant, and can get a little jealous so I'm sorry if things start out a bit rough with her" I explained preemptively, Jess was sensitive and i didn't want it to seem like Anna was completely rejecting the thought of her.

"Relax baby, she's a teenage girl and she's been through so much. I understand why she would be"

Well that was a relief, now the only thing I could do was hope that this dinner goes smoothly on Anna's part as well. I left Jess with a kiss and told her I would meet up with her at my lunch break before getting to work. I had a lot to catch up on after taking some time at home to stay with Anna, it was worth it though.

Anna's pov:

Dean reminded me like a gazillion times that I needed to be home right after school today to get ready to meet Jess. Ugh I really didn't want to have to go but I figured it was best to just get over it. I said goodbye to ava outside of the school and headed back.

"Hey Anna how was school" Dean greeted as I walked through the door. He was just getting out of uniform and unlacing his police boots while I walked in.

"Boring as usual" I complained

"Well I didn't get any unexpected calls today  so you're doing something right" he laughed and I rolled my eyes in response. "Anyway be ready to leave at 5:30. We are going to that pizza place in town that you really like"

I nodded. "Wanna watch a movie or play a video game Dean?" I suggested, I really needed something to take my mind off of sams girlfriend for a little while. Luckily he agreed and we played Mario kart untill Sam got back from work.

"Dang kid your not so bad" Dean smiled, well I'm glad he's not a sore loser considering I just kicked his ass for like an hour straight.

"Told ya so" I bragged, sticking my tongue out at him. I wasn't crazy, I know Dean is tough and scary but I've come to realize that as long as I'm not in trouble or a complete bitch, we can joke around like this.
Just then Sam got home from work, I jumped off the couch and gave him a hug. (Okay fine maybe I was being a little extra clingy. I don't care, sue me I won't let her take him from me)

"Sam come play with us" I begged.

"No Anna, maybe tonight but it's 5 now, we need to leave soon" he replied quickly, my heart sank.

"Pleaseeee" I pouted. Maybe after dinner was the only response I got, I turned back to Dean "sams being boring, let's go, one more round!" I suggested, hoping Dean would buy into it.

"Stop stalling. I need to go change. We are leaving in 15 minutes" Dean said getting kind of stern. Ugh fine. I went upstairs to my room to finish getting ready as well. I wore jeans and a cute black crop top (although it was long enough to not wind up in a fight with Dean about it) I put on my favorite black combat boots with a gold stripe and matching gold jewlery. I put on a little makeup but kept it natural for tonight, finishing it off with sparkly lip gloss.
