BLINDING LIGHTS and loud music that makes the floor tremble, the familiar stench of all sorts of alcohol and the medicinal use of marijuana lingered in the air, following party goers around wherever they went.

Half naked men and women grinding against each other, sweat glistening off the skin of those who clashed together on the dance floor. That's what your  early 20's are about, or your mid 20's but who is really keeping track these days?

Everyone who showed up to the party, their eyes couldn't help but drift to the curly headed Latina in the middle of the dance floor, wearing a top that kept nothing hidden and a small skirt that covered her goods as she swayed her hips and sung loudly to the Latin music blasting from the many speakers.

No one made the red lip look more iconic than Mikaela Torretto, the family was already popular for their amazing cars and the warmth that they shared with the neighborhood but even after all that - the impeccable genetics of the Torretto children were too hard to ignore.

Mikaela Toretto was the party girl of the family always seen at some of the most exclusive parties and always drinking the finest drinks because no one would turn down buying a drink for her - no man or woman would be foolish enough.

But in saying that, no one is foolish enough to flirt with Dominic Toretto's little sister either.

She wore a grin that was devastatingly beautiful, it made the strongest men weak in the knees, making them stumble and crumble around her like they weighed nothing, or even had no joints or muscles keeping them upright.

Mikaela's eyes were bloodshot red as she bought a joint up to her full lips, her lungs burning as the smoke filled her lungs. She exhales softly, the smoke lingering in the air around her and other warm bodies.

It was like a hot box in this place, you could get high just stepping through the door, you didn't need to even take the drug or smoke the joint that was being passed around to feel the effects. You simply needed to be there.

"Mikaela!" His deep voice rung in her ear and yet she didn't respond, simply bringing her bloodshot gaze to meet his, a weak giggle parting her lips as she leaned into him.

"Dom!" Her voice sounded and yet she had no idea that she even wanted to speak in the first place.

"What are you doing?" He growled in her ear, his hand squeezing her forearm as he dragged her through the crowds. Ignoring the many shouts and screams of those they were clashing against.

"I'm having fun." She slurred almost tripping over her own feet.

Dominic opened his mouth to speak, but nothing came out. Not a sound, his hands trembling with anger as he lead his little sister out of the fifth party he'd pulled her from just this week to his car.

Ignoring any glances or stares from people who passed by.

"Hey!" Mikaela protested. "The party is back there."

"There is no party." He yelled, opening the door. "It's over, the party is just over."

"Already? It's barely midnight." Mikaela slurred.

"It's 2:30 in the morning." Dominic yelled. "Get in the damn car."

The girl paused, realization hitting her like a brick as his anger registered in her mind. Her lips parting in shock as she lowered herself into the car without hesitation.

Dom slammed the door behind her before stalking around and climbing inside starting the car immediately.

"You're still helping out Mia at the shop tomorrow." He informs her angrily before putting his foot down on the accelerator.

Her head dropped against the glass as the world around her speeds past, lights blurring together into one. Mikaela bit her lip trying to swallow the vomit threatening to creep up her throat, causing tears to blind her vision.

"I'm gonna be sick." She mumbled.

"Not in my car, you're not." Dom responded gruffly.

Mikaela started singing softly under her breath, her words slurred and slow, a mixture of nothing as Dominic shook his head, his little sisters spiral scaring him more than anything. He couldn't even be angry at her anymore, just a little bit of pity.

"When are you going to stop this?" He asked.

"Stop what?"

"Drinking, the drugs." He hesitates. "Partying until 4 in the morning. You are going to get yourself killed, or kill yourself."

"It makes me feel good." Mikaela slurred.

"Your health isn't worth the high, Mickey. The comedown off the high is never worth the 5 minutes of pleasure that it gives you." He spoke softly, his big brotherly tone creeping out between words. A big lecture would be given in the morning after she woke, she was sure of it.

"I'm not 12 anymore, Dom."

"Then stop acting like it!" He argued, his jaw clenched.

"I'm- I'm not..."

"Why are you doing this to yourself?"

A couple minutes of silence passed and Dom was 80% sure that she had finally passed out, the drugs and alcohol taking over her body and finally knocking her out.

Until, those words fell from her lips.

The same words that he had been too scared to utter himself, the ones that he was too busy to. Busy raising his two sisters and trying to manage a business at the same time.

He was so busy that half of the time he didn't have a minute to sit back and think about it, how he felt. Mikaela had always been a little bit more effected that him and Mia but he hadn't really given it any thought until now.

Until on this drunken night, she had managed to lower her inhibitions so much that the urge to spill her guts to her brother overpowered her common sense.

Mikaela slightly lifted her face from the window, exhaling heavily right before speaking.

"I miss dad."

Like a punch to the gut, Dominic almost had to pull over and catch his breath. He cleared his throat and blinked quickly.

"I know, Mickey. We all do."

He glanced over and certainly enough, she was sleeping. A little bit of drool rolling down her chin as she slept like a baby.

"Let's get you home, Mickey." He whispered.

There was one positive about tonight, there was no way she's going to remember this in the morning.
