                             30 minutes later
"I don't understand what the issue is!" Tara had her hands in the air as she spoke

"You guys LIVE together! Is complimenting his looks THAT unnatural??"
She shakes her head and puts her hand on her forehead, signifying that she was "stressed".

Tara and Johnnie were in his car on their way to pick Jake up and take them to a pool that Tara's family owned near a hillside-with a magnificent view of the sunset at that.

"Stop saying shit like that!"  he huffs out a breath as he continued to drive

"It's different!"

"Different how?" She cocks an eyebrow

"Because it's not like i've ALWAYS loved him! It's weird now!"

Tara rolls her eyes as she listens to Johnnie spit out nonsense excuses

"He'll suspect that something's up if you start acting different." she calmly replies

Johnnie groans

"This is bullshit. Why does he have to be so..Jake??"

Tara laughs and shakes her head

After a few minutes of driving, Tara pops a question
"So..why didn't you just let him ride with you to pick ME up?"

Johnnie turns down the road where him and Jake were housed

"Because, I needed to talk to you...to..prepare..?"

Johnnie can practically FEEL as Tara rolled her eyes. "Stupid ass" 

There was no reply until Johnnie pulled into their driveway. Honking the car horn, he signalled to Jake that they were outside.

Tara gets out of the car and moves to the back seat

"What're you doing?" Johnnie looks back at Tara from the mirror

"I'm letting Jake sit next to you." she answered with a grin

"It's not like we're gonna make out in the car or anything.." he shakes his head "Seriously Tara, nothing's going to happen in the CAR."

She shrugs her shoulders
"Gotta stay prepared, boo"

Jake walks out of the front door with a diet coke, towel, sunscreen,-and of course- his bathing suit. Which, unfortunately (or not..) for Johnnie, consisted of only his swimming shorts. He had red star-shaped sunglasses on his head and was grinning like crazy, obviously excited about the pool.

He opened the passenger door of the car and speaks in his signature country accent, "Wooo, okayyy, who's ready for a swim??" he laughs

Tara whoops with him

"I'm so excited for you guys to see my family's pool, it's so fucking awesome."

Johnnie has a small blush on his face, no makeup to hide it, and nods

"Yeah, even though I probably won't swim, i'm gonna watch the sunset from the pool side." He starts to pull out of the driveway

"And do what? Get a tan?"
Tara teasingly asks as her and Jake laugh at the joke

"Oh, shut up. Sunsets are pretty." Johnnie recoils back and starts to drive towards the hillside that Tara's pool is located
