"Stars, hide your fires; let not light see my black and deep desires."

The young girl sighed to herself, completely lost in her thoughts..

"Come on dear, hurry up"

She shook her thoughts away and replied

"I'm coming mom!"

She walked faster not missing a chance to observe her surroundings which were undoubtedly very odd and strange...

"Phew.. I'm so tired, my back hurts. Hurry up dear, what's taking you so long? Also can you get me glass of water?"

"I'm here mom, I was just looking around...It's so strange here even the air feels so...different."

"You're thinking too much, it's probably because we just moved here after living in our past neighborhood for a good few years."

"But like it's as if -

"Enough sweetheart, you'll get used to to it. Now my water pls."

She again shook her thoughts away not wanting to push herself to the edge and carry on with the day.

After helping her mom with a few chores, she decided to freshen up a bit.

"Now's the time to explore the house"

Walking around hearing the creaks of the floors and doors sent shivers down her spine.

Entering her balcony, she closed her eyes feeling the air brush through her face.

She opened her eyes feeling the unfamiliar feeling rushing through her at it's max speed..

"What place is this...? Why does it feel like there's no life in this area.. and those flowers... They look so dead yet still alive..."

Distracting her thoughts she heard a voice.

"Y/n! I'm leaving, don't forget to go grocery shopping and I'll stay with you on text."

"Okay mom! Take care, love you 😘"

And with that she decided to take a lil nap feeling exhausted.

In the evening~

Getting ready to go out, she fiddled through her things trying to find her car keys.

"Oh godd, hurry up! Where are they!?"

She released a sigh of relief after finding them eventually after 10 minutes.

She went out to her car, again noticing how strange it was that no one was out, she had not heard a single noise ever since she came here.

There were no signs of a light nearby which gave her the chills.

She drove off to go get some groceries.

On her way back, she saw a man all covered in black entering his house which was right Infront of hers.

She felt weird because it felt like he was rushed.

She ignored it and went inside carrying on with her evening and finishing her day with a meal and a movie.

3 days past and nothing unusual happened except for the fact everything seemed unusual to her.
