chapter 1 Psychosis [wip]

The farthest distance of the dark woods. A woman appeared with her left hand holding to her injured right arm, she yelled out “Help me!” over and over again… But no one heard her. She starts running to the town, hoping for someone to save her from something or someone.“PLEASE! SOMEONE HELP ME!” she cried out until a faint sound of a clock ticking as it grew louder..louder..and louder. This led her to panic as she looked around, wanting to know where this ticking sound was coming from. However she starts running knowing that her fate has been sealed. Faint sounds of the ticking started to grow louder as it was behind her, Her expression changed to total fear As they made it to the town fountain. The beast slashed through the woman's leg! She screamed out in pain as she collapsed towards the water of the fountain. Blood spread around the water as the beast walked closely to her with the sound....tick..tock..tick..tock… She turned to face it only to stare at the creature's eyes which were hollow like a tree along with clock hands for pupils. The beast stared at her with a demonic growl as the ticking sound slowly appeared …tick…tock…tick…tock…tick…tock The sound stops as it reaches 12:30. “Please….” She begged but the creature stared at her with no response until it lounges at her the women screamed! the sound of crushing bones and the gush of blood have scattered around the fountain as the women…were gone. It’s been 2 days since the incident that marked the hauntings of Redwood but wasn’t the first as there were many more incidents in brutal ways that not even a human being could’ve committed. In the Morning, many Police officers surrounded the crime scene at the fountain where she was killed. A Detective with a black trench coat had entered the scene from getting permission to access. As he entered, He noticed the blood trail on the ground before lifting his head with total shock that he witnessed the corpse of a woman with her chest fully opened as her organs were not found. “Holy shit–” He said while examining the area of the corpse, “did a bear do this???”. The officer near Him said “surprisingly it isn’t, those creatures have not come to this side of town despite few instincts but no attacks”. He starts to get more curious while examining the area for clues while holding in the sick feeling until he spotted a footprint on the ground that resembles a goat's hooves. “A goat?” he said until a detective entered the scenery yelling to him “HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!” He turned to him with a frightened expression as he Yelled out “I’m Yusei Yamada! A Detective!” He brought out his badge to show him. The man stayed silent as his glaring eyes stared right towards Yusei, “A newbie huh? From a Jap like you” He said before entering the scenery “So Mr Yamada, what happened here” he said with an unimpressed look before noticing the corpse that was left in the fountain of blood. “An odd incident..” Yusei replied, “something had attacked her last night..”. The man stared at the fountain as if he had seen this incident happen again. “Hmm..did a bear do it?”, Yusei looked at him with an unsurprised look “that's what I had said before but apparently not”. He stood there in silence as he tried to think of what he thought  happened last night to the other officers, Yusei said to him “by any chance…what is your name sir?” He looked to Yusei before giving him a sigh, “The name Josh Hudson.. A detective who has more experience than you Jap” He said with a glare. Yusie sighs as he internally thinks to himself “great another person who seems to belittle me.”, Yusie clears his throat “well Mr.Hudson what do you think of this situation?” Yusie asks curiously while keeping his composure. “What do I think of this situation? From the looks of it seems to appear that the woman was torn open by some form of animal or weapon. Then again I don't think an insane person would go to this extent to remove the extremities.” Josh replied to Yusie's question. “Understandable sir, though I did notice a goat hoof prints in the ground right here” Yusie says as he points at the goat footprints on the ground that he had looked at before being startled and yelled at by Josh not too long ago. “That could have been planted by the killer to throw us off Rookie, some killers are quite smart doing that.” Josh replied his tone was kinda monotone and blunt. “Besides, why would a Goat go so far lengths to kill a human?” Josh asks, raising an Eyebrow. For a moment Yusie remained quiet then he spoke, “You do have a point there sir, but Goats can attack humans if they feel threatened in any way. leaving the body after rupturing a few organs that cause internal bleeding for a human to die from, maybe after the goat left a bird most likely a buzzard or vulture came and started to pick at the body tearing it open to eat the extremities then they flew away once startled.” Yusie concludes with his possible theory, Josh tilted his head confused for a moment. “Do you really think birds would eat dead people?” Josh asks, his gaze holding a doubting look. “Yes sir, I do indeed believe a horde of scavenger birds are atoned to feast on scraps others may leave behind, expecily road kill.”  Yusie says. “But for what reason would a goat hurt a human?” Josh asks, “Well sir, there are many possibilities to why a goat attacked a human, but we would have to check to see whether it was a male or female Goat who caused it. Cause if it was male, he would have rammed his horns into the body either for protection of his herd or due to self defense, a Female goat probably would have hit because she was protecting her child.” Yusie says “Also we would need to get an Autopsy report for any vital damages that can't be seen with the human eye itself  at least if anything were to break off the Animal, probably but I am not necessarily sure quite yet though.” Yusie adds on to his comment.  “And how do we know for sure they will find anything if a bird ate the organs?” Josh asks, raising an Eyebrow out of Suspicion. “Well Mr.Hudson, you tell me. But then again a full Autopsy would find any traces of DNA left from the attack. Also there may be some clues we don't necessarily see with our natural eyes.” Yusie says a calm yet sincere reply. “hm..you do have a point there but how do we know for sure that they will find anything?” Josh asks, “they have better skilled people that are accustomed to examining dead bodies and have better equipment to do so.” Yusie says
