I had no clue what to wear, of course Liv had one made for her but I didn't know I was going until tonight! Liv was in the bathroom while I had been rummaging through my closet. I finally found something acceptable, it was just a simple black dress. My makeup was already done so I just had to wait for Liv.
"OK! I'm finally ready!" I hear Olivia say as she comes out the bathroom.
"Are we taking my car or yours?"
"Yours because I'm staying over remember?"
"Right"

We get there and right away so many cameras. We make our way to check in and were late. The premiere for the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes will start in around 20 minutes so we have some time to kill. I decide to stay with Liv because I don't really know where to go. She makes her way to the red carpet. We pose together and we go inside the place to get snacks and where all the theaters are. I turn my back for a second to get coffee, and Liv is gone.
"Liv where are you?" I say as I look around for her, I then see her talking with a tall boy with curly black hair.
"Oh there you are" I say as I walk up to her. I look up to see the boy's face, he has a few moles and he is fairly attractive.
"Yeah I was just talking to my friend Conan" Liv says. I smile at Conan
"I'm Madeline it's great to meet you" I say as i look into his chocolate brown eyes.
"Conan" he says with a smile.
"I'll be right back I'm getting popcorn, hold my bag please" Liv says as she hands me her bag, leaving me and Conan alone.
We stand there for awhile, sitting there in an awkward silence, I'm not sure what to say I'm sure he's thinking the same. I want to say something, maybe compliment his music but I don't want it to be weirder than it already is. I also don't just want to talk about Liv, so I wait for him to say something.
"So anything going on in your life recently" I say awkwardly
"Not really, writing some songs here and there"
"I'd love to hear them sometime" I smile, I'm being genuine, I wonder if he can tell.
"Maybe sometime"
Were saved, Liv comes back with some popcorn and the movie is about to start, somehow we all have the same theater and sit together. I don't really pay attention to the movie, I just glance at him every once and awhile, he has me thinking nonsense..
