"I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY I EVEN gohome anymore. she doesn't even care about me. she just wants someone to ground every fucking day. because that's all she does anymore, is ground, ground, ground, ground, ground!" jules complained as she got out of the car that matt had just parked around the corner yet again. matt was the one who thought it would be best for jules to go home after the movie. he didn't want her being gone in the morning, making her mother all pissed again when she didn't have to. jules never faught him on it, even if she wanted to, she knew that matt was gonna be right in the long run.
she started to walk away when unexpectedly, matt got out from the driver side of the car as well. it confused jules at first because usually he would just leave her be in situations like this, he knew her and what she wanted very well. but then she watched him walk up to her and felt his arms wrap around her in a very comfortable embrace.
jules loved matt's hugs because they always felt like she was being tucked in with a warm blanket and everything about it was just perfect to her. she didn't get this kind of stuff from either of her parents, and she didn't have any siblings. so technically matt was the closest she could get to this kind of affection. yeah she always had erin, chris, and nick as well, but they were never as close as matt and jules were.
