"Oh, fuck," Lucinda started to run as she heard footsteps nearing the corridor she was in. She shoved her long blonde hair out of her face and started heading towards Ms. Hicks's office. She knew she was safe there. On her way there she almost ran into Ms. Hicks.

"Ms. Malfoy, why am I not surprised to see you like this?" Mrs. Hicks asked with a slight grin on her face.

"I can explain everything," Lucinda was trying to catch her breath as she looked down the corridor she was just running in, "But maybe we should head somewhere more private"

She smiled as Ms. Hicks led her into her office, "What trouble have you gotten into today?"

"You have to understand Ms. Hick's, it was Dylan. He's so stupid that he can't tell the difference between his hand and his dick." Ms. Hicks muttered "language" but let her continue speaking. "I know you told me not to use my abilities unnecessarily but I think it was very necessary this time." Right on cue, a tall boy came rushing into Ms. Hicks' office. His clothes were all messed up and his face was red from running.

"YOU!" He screamed when he saw Lucinda. She quickly got up and ran behind Ms. Hicks. "GET OVER HERE!" He started to run towards her but Lucinda ran around the desk. The pair ran laps in all directions around the desk until Ms. Hicks finally stood up to put an end to this.

"What exactly happened between you two?" She folded her arms together and looked between the two Thunderbirds.

"She turned into a snake and slithered into my clothes!" Dylan yelled, his face turning even more red.

"Yeah, well you were being a git." She rolled her grey eyes at the boy and sat back down in her seat. "Maybe this will teach you a thing or two about messing with me." They had known each other for 4 years and he still hadn't understood anything about Lucinda.

"Lucinda Malfoy, you'll truly be the death of me." Ms. Hicks sighed and sat back in her seat.

Lucinda started walking back to her dorms after a long talk with Ms. Hicks about how she shouldn't use being an animagus to harm others but instead help them. She wasn't exactly sure what she meant, what could a snake do to help others? She would've ended up in detention if it wasn't for the fact that she was staying over the summer.

Since her family was back in England, Lucinda would stay in the US year-round, only coming home every year for Christmas. She was happy with this arrangement, when she was with her family she felt like she couldn't be herself. Her brother and her dad weren't cruel to her, but she felt disconnected from them and their way of thinking.

She jumped onto her bed without changing into her night clothes, she felt like something was rustling under her so she got up to see a letter. "Reggie!" She exclaimed and she ripped the letter open. Regulus Black had been her best friend since they were young and they had been keeping in touch during her time in America. She would always get excited whenever she got a letter from him, even though she got letters from him every week.

Dear Lucy,

Things haven't been going well at home. As you know, Mother and Father have been having a lot of problems with Sirius but this time I think he's gone too far. He ran off to his friend's house and he has no intention of coming back. My parents are furious, and they're taking it out on me.

I'm not sure how long I can take this, you know how bad my parents are, but Sirius leaving is making it so much worse. I'm just happy the school year is starting soon so I can escape them for a bit. I wish you were here, I could barely handle Mother and Father when Sirius was here, I don't know what I'll do now that he's gone. I can't believe he left me here with them.

I hope all is well for you in America,

Much Love,

R.A.B

"Oh my god," Lucinda whispered under her breath. "I need to go home, I need to help him." Lucinda had been thinking about going home for a while. She had nothing holding her back in America. She was fairly popular here and Ilermorny but she didn't have any true friends. She had wanted to go back, back to Reggie, back to her family and her home but now she finally a reason to. She quickly began writing a letter to her father. Since she didn't write to him often, she was sure that he would respond fast, hopefully sometime this week.

Dear Father,

I would like to start attending Hogwarts alongside Lucius for the rest of my studies. Since it is almost the end of the summer if you would be able to set a room up in Hogsmade that would be great.

Perhaps Regulus could join me since he will be the only friend I know in Hogwarts. I trust that you will be able to set this up.

Your daughter,

Lucinda Malfoy

She wrote another letter to Regulus so that he would know about her plan.

Dear Reggie,

I can't believe that Sirius left home like that. Did he tell you about his plan? Let's talk more, I'm coming back home, I should've come back a long time ago. Hang in there, I should be able to come in less than a week, and I'll be able to convince our parents to let us stay in an inn in Hogsmeade before school starts.

Love,

Lucinda

She walked up to the owlery to send her letters. She placed a kiss on her letter to Regulus, a slight red stain was left in the shape of her lip. She had begun kissing her letters to him after last Christmas when they both had their first kiss with each other. They weren't interested in other people but they were both teenagers with normal teenage hormones and they wanted to try something new to both of them. She laughed at the memory before tying the letters to an owl's foot and sending them off.
