Monsters Inc One Shots (The Majority of it Being Randall)

Crush Randall x Reader pt. 2

The next day, you're back at work. You have just showed up, so you just walked through the doors. You look around and you smile and say, "This is gonna be a pretty good day. I'm sure of it." Little do you realize, you were about to see somebody that was going to change things for you, forever.

It's 1pm. Your shift starts at 1:30pm. You hear this, "Hey, (Y/N)." You look over to see Celia Mae. Mike's girlfriend and the laugh floor supervisor. You smile and you say, "Hi, Celia. How are you, today?" She says, "I'm good. I..." You hear one of the male employees yelling, "Guys! Guys!" You all look at him.

Celia says, "Mark. Why are you shouting? What's going on? Is Mike stuck in one of the doors, again?" Mark says, "No no. Not even close..." He looks around and looks at you and Celia whispering, "He's back." You raise a brow. Celia says, "Who?" Mark says, "Uuhh... Randall." Everyone but you gasps. Celia says, "What?!" You look at Celia and you say, "Who's Randall?" 

She looks at you and says, "Randall Boggs. He was a former employee here and one of the top scarers when monsters were still scaring human children. He held a grudge against Sulley and Mike. Sulley, especially. He was jealous of him being the top scarer and was willing to do anything to get to the top, himself. Even cheating his way. But that's not that only thing that gives him a bad rep... He was involved in trying to kidnap human children for their screams with this device... the Scream Extractor." 

You say, "Wow. You don't say. So, HE was the one who helped that Waternoose guy, wasn't he?" Celia says, "Yes. He was. If you see Randall, (Y/N)... I suggest you be careful." You say, "I'll take your word for it." 

You all hear a laughter and everyone gasps and looks ahead. You see someone appear. It's a male lizard monster purple in color, has eight limbs, three fronds on his head, a blue end of the tail, etc. You gasp and you blush. So, this was what he looked like. You can't look away from this man. 

Everyone yells, "Randall Boggs!!" Randall grins and you blush even more. He says, "That's right. It's me... I'm back, baby." You look away and you tuck your hair back a bit. You look back over at Randall. Randall chuckles and says, "You all didn't expect me to show my face again, did ya? Well... Here I am." He grins.

You all hear a familiar raspy deep voice yelling, "Randall! That's enough!" Sounded like Sulley. You all look over to see him and Mike. Mike mumbles, "I'm really dreadin' this, Sulley. He's a horrible guy." Sulley mumbles, "Easy, Mike. If he screws up again, he's out of here for good." Mike says, "What did you hire him back as?" Sulley says, "A janitor." Mike mumbles, "Psh. Serves him right." 

Celia says, "Sulley. What is HE doing here?" Sulley approaches Randall. He looks at everyone else and he says, "Relax, everyone. I've already had a good talking to Randall here. I've hired him back as a janitor." Randall grins. You sigh and you smile. Celia peeks over at you and notices your reaction to Randall. She looks over at Sulley and Randall.

Sulley faces Randall and Randall faces him. Sulley says, "Randall. You're lucky I've hired you back, at all. We've got a new employee here and I want you to go easy on her. Got it?" Randall says, "Yep." 

Sulley says, "I mean it, Randall. Best behavior while you're working here, again. Screw this up and you're out of here. And I won't hire you back. Got it?" Randall grins and says, "Yeah yeah. I got it. Thanks for rehiring me." 

Sulley says, "You can start mopping down the hallway in fifteen minutes." Randall smirks and gives a salute. Sulley walks off. Mike looks at Randall and squints his eye saying, "I'm watchin' you, Randall." He turns away and walks off with Sulley.

There are whispers and Randall says, "Yeah yeah. Don't worry. I won't mess with anyone. I..." He looks over where Celia is standing and he notices you. You gasp and you look away, blushing. Randall says, "Who's she?"
