They decided to try and sleep for a while, but they couldn't seem to fall asleep.
They were still worried about their friends.
Rose tried and tried, but their eyes just weren't feeling heavy.
They thought and thought.
They finally had an idea.
They got up and walked over to Potion.
"Potion, wake up."
Potion looked at Rose. "Whaaaat..??"
Rose shook their head. "Never mind. Go back to sleep."
They walked over to Pawn and Pie Chart.
"Guys, wake up."
Pawn looked at Rose. "What's going on?"
"I'm bored." Rose said. "Can we take about something?"
Pawn shrugged. "Okay, why not?"
Potion crawled over to the three. "Why not talk about what we wanna do when we finally escape?"
"That's a good idea." Rose said.
"Okay, what do we want to do?" Pawn asked.
"I want to go to the beach." Potion said.
"I wanna see my mom..." Rose said.
The others went silent.
"Now that I think about it, I want to see my mom as well." Potion replied.
"I wanna eat a cheeseburger." Pawn said, trying to change the subject.
The others laughed.
"I'm sure our moms are worried about us for sure." Rose said.
Rose looked at Pawn. "Do you have a mom?"
Pawn shook her head. "I don't remember ever having a mother." She lied.
Rose frowned. "I'm sorry."
Pawn shrugged. "It's fine."
They sat there for a few moments in silence.
Rose then looked at Pie Chart. "Do you have parents, Pie?"
Pie Chart shook their head.
Rose was shocked. "Oh wow, I'm sorry."
Pie Chart shrugged.
They sat there in silence for a few minutes.
Rose looked at Pawn. "Do you have any siblings?"
"Yeah, I have a brother named Rook." Pawn said.
Rose smiled. "That's nice."
Pawn nodded her head.
Rose turned towards Pie. "Pie, do you have any siblings?"
Pie shook their head.
Rose frowned. "That's unfortunate."
"Mhm." Pie replied.
They sat there for a few moments in silence.
"Well, Potion, remember that one time we threw cream pies at Witch Hat?" Rose asked.
Potion laughed. "Yeah, that was fun!
Pawn turned towards Rose. "Hey, Rose, remember that time we all got together and played chess?"
Rose smiled. "Yeah, that was a lot of fun!"
Pawn nodded her head. "It was, wasn't it?"
Rose looked at Potion. "Remember that time we all went to the beach and built a sandcastle?"
