CHAPTER SIX

(Cassie's pov)

we arrive at the party and her house is legit massive.

"fuck it's big" i say.

"real omg" nick says staring at it.

"let's go in cmon" matt says rolling his eyes.

"buzzkilll" chris says causing me and nick to laugh.

"fuck off" matt says.

we all walk inside then nick and chris find their friends so me and matt are kinda forced to hang.

"how's ur foot" matt asks trying to break the silence.

"sore ugly and pink" i say awkwardly.

"very pink" matt says smiling a bit.

"i hate partys wanna just go hang out in the bedroom?" i say.

"sure i guess" matt says.

we walk to the bedroom and just sit on the bed.

"thought u loved partys" matt says.

"i dont really but i just think sometimes there fun" i shrug.

"fair point" matt agrees.

"oo wait wanna go to this cool place nearby?" i ask.

"sure?" matt says getting up.

"can u just help me get up please" i say.

matt throws me over his shoulder then places me on the ground gently.

"jeez matt" i say laughing.

"calm down" he says walking out of the room.

"wait for me omg" i walk as quick as i can over to him.

"so where we going?" matt asks as we walk outside.

"just follow me!" i grab his hand then attempt to run.

"be careful of ur foot dumbass" matt says.

"im finee" i say.

we run to a lake then it starts raining.

"it's so pretty" i smile then sit down on the edge of the bridge.

"it is" matt sits next to me.

"are you like not freezing?" he says.

"not really" i say.

we sit for awhile then walk back to the party and by the time we're back it's 12:30am.

"first party im not drunk" i joke.

"i know" matt says.

"let's just sit in the car and wait for nick and chris?" i say.

"k let's go" matt says then we sit in the car.

(skip to when nick and chris come)

"CASSIE AURORA RODGERS WHERE WERE YOU!?" nick shouts.

"i was at the lake" i laugh.

"OMG WITHOUT ME?!?" nick says.

"maybeeee" i smile.

"can we just go?" matt interrupts.

"calm down" i say buckling up.

matt starts to drive and drops me off at home.
