Chapter 4

(Happy New Year!)

Reo gently kissed Nagi's forehead as everyone stared at them. "Did that really just happen or is it my imagination?" Chigiri asked as Nagi's face flushed red. Nagi opened his mouth to say something but no words came out. Reo noticed how everyone was so surprised and how Nagi was so embarrassed so he decided to speak up. "Come on guys! Isn't that something best friends do?" Reo chuckled awkwardly as everyone stared at him and Nagi.

The moment Nagi heard the word "friends" he looked down and sighed silently. 'Am I in the friend zone?... Do I even want to be more than friends with Reo?' Nagi thought but, his thoughts were disturbed by Bachira. "Me and Isagi don't do that?" Bachira said as Isagi nodded. Reo shrugged as he looked around, trying to find something else to discuss to change the topic.

After a few seconds of thinking, the bell began to ring. "It's time to go to the next class! See you guys later!" Reo said as he quickly dragged Nagi to their next class. In the class, the teacher sat at the table, looking at Reo and Nagi as they walked into the class. "Sit down, class will start in one minute." The teacher said as Reo sighed and quickly went to his seat. Nagi yawned as he slowly dragged himself towards his seat. When Nagi sat down, the teacher stood up. "Today, we will have a new student." The teacher declared as she opened the door and led the new student in.

The new student walked in slowly as everyone's eyes were fixated on them. "Please introduce yourself." The teacher said as the new student rolled his eyes and sighed. "My name is Itoshi Rin." Rin said as everyone waited for him to say more. "Anything else?" The teacher asked as Rin shook his head. "Well, you can sit beside Reo. The person with purple hair over there." The teacher said as she pointed to the empty spot next to Reo.

Rin nodded as he made his way to his seat. "Reo, please, show him around and be nice to him." The teacher said as Reo nodded and looked at Rin. "Your appearance... Your name... WAIT! ARE YOU ITOSHI SAE'S BROTHER?!" Reo shouted as the teacher immediately shushed him. Rin groaned as he turned around to face Reo and gave him a cold glare. "Yes, now can you be quiet?" Rin mumbled, it was clear he didn't like to talk about his brother.

Reo's eyes lit up as his jaw dropped. 'There is no way! I am sitting beside Itoshi Sae's brother!' Reo thought as he tried to contain his excitement. Nagi didn't notice at all since he was sleeping like always. Reo wanted to tell Nagi the news but that must wait until later. Now, he must focus on class.

A few hours passed and it was finally time for the students to go home. Nagi was still sleeping so Reo shook him and woke him up. "Hm?.. Reo?..." Nagi mumbled as he rubbed his eyes. "We need to find the others! I need to tell all of you something!" Reo exclaimed, Nagi yawned as he followed Reo to go find the others and to hear the important news.

"Do you think I should tell everyone tomorrow? Kunigami isn't here so..." Reo questioned as Nagi shrugged and nodded slightly. Then, Reo quickly went home since his car was there. Nagi sighed once he got home. 'Time is so slow when Reo isn't here.' Nagi thought as he started to play games. Then, he got a call...
