Chapter - 39

After a short while, KS arrives at the MPT. Everyone, except Pushpa Ji, is surprised because, for the very first time, their SHO is running late. As KS enters the MPT, all eyes are on her. KS is so preoccupied that she doesn't notice the attention initially.

As KS proceeds towards her cabin, MIRA points out, "Aap ek ghanta pachpan Minutes late hai (1 hour and 55 minutes)."

Unaware of the situation, KS halts upon hearing MIRA's words, and in her defense, she replies, "Haa... Woh thoda kuch kaam mein busy the toh..."

"Accha..." Pushpa Ji asks, raising her eyebrow inquisitively.

"Haan!" KS responds, growing irritated by the sudden interrogation. As Pushpa Ji teases her with a look, KS adds in a more normal tone, "Haan Pushpa Ji, haan!"

"Santu, woh jo files check karni hai humare cabin mein bhijwa do..." KS says, attempting to make her way to her cabin. Just then, Santosh interrupts, "Ek min, Madam..."

Narrowing her eyes, Santu looks at KS and remarks, "Aapki gardan pe kuch laga hai... Laal laal."

Completely unaware of what Santosh is talking about, KS tries to wipe her neck, instinctively moving her hand to remove whatever is there.

"Aree Santu... Ye kuch laga nahi hai... katne ka nishaan lag raha hai, kiu MIRA dekho toh..." MP says, drawing everyone's attention to KS's neck where there is a mark.

MIRA's system scans the mark on KS's neck, triggering memories of how she got it. Nervously scratching her neck, KS tries to explain, "Aa... woh shayad Macchar ne kata hoga..."

"NAHI.... Ye nishaan Macchar ke katne ka nahi hai... Mere Data ke according ye kisi Insaan ke katne ka hai," MIRA declares.

"Insaan ke katne ka....??" MP mumbles, and just then, Santu asks innocently, "Madam, koi aapke itne pass aake Kat ke Gaya... Aap kar kya Rahi thi ?? Aapne roka kiu nahi ??" KS's face blushes with a rosy hue, remembering the morning moment with HM.

Before KS can say anything, MP interjects, "Insaan ke katne ka....?? Matlab Lovebite??"

"Ji haa! Lovebite... Jab koi insaan apna pyaar jatane keliye apne partner ya premi ko kat ta Hain, usse Love Bite kehte hain," MIRA explains.

All eyes turn to KS in amazement, while Pushpa Ji enjoys teasing her innocent daughter. "Kuch... Kuch bhi bakwaas kar rahe ho! Aisa nahi hai! Macchar ne kata hai mujhe!" KS replies, attempting to cover up the mark.

"Nahi, ye Love bite hai!" MIRA insists, then asks KS, "Katne se toh insaan ko pain hota hai, toh phir apna pyaar jatane ke liye kyu karte hain? Huhh 😏 complex Human."

Trying to compose herself, KS sternly says, "Ama O kuch bhi bak rahi ho?aur tum log iski baatein sun rahe ho?? Koi kaam nahi hai tum logo ko?? Jab dekho tab baketi karte ho!! Jao sabhi, warna line hajir kar denge hum sab ki."

Witnessing KS's anger, everyone retreats to their respective desks. KS is about to leave when MIRA questions her, "Par mere sawal ka jawab nahi diya aapne??"

"Konsa sawaal??" KS asks.

"Pyaar jatane keliye insaan dusre insaan ko kyu kat ta hai??" MIRA replies.

"Aa... woh hum nahi jaante ye sab. Haseena aayegi toh unse puch lena," KS says.

"Kyu?? Aapko Haseena Di ne kata hai??" Santu innocently asks in the middle. KS is at a loss for words, while others look at Santu in amazement.

"Uff, ye masumiyat Santu ji!" Cheetah remarks.

"Tumhe masumiyat aur mental damage mein fark nahi samjha aata kya??" KS says sternly to Cheetah.
