"I will never marry her, I'd rather die without an heir!!" I shouted not caring about the consequences of my actions

"I will never marry her, I'd rather die without an heir!!" I shouted not caring about the consequences of my actions.

The dimly lit office, steeped in the heavy air of tension, felt like a battleground where my father and Adelaide's orchestrated the terms of an arranged marriage. I sat across from her, unable to shake the knot of unease tightening in my stomach as I observed her distress.

Adelaide, with her chocolate hair cascading down her shoulders, seemed on the verge of unraveling. Instead of reveling in her discomfort as I normally would have, a nagging worry crept into my thoughts. Our fathers continued discussing the terms and further details, but I couldn't ignore the distress etched across Adelaide's perfect face.

" It's your duty as my daughter, my dear." Her father, Kyros Winston let out through gritted teeth, almost as if he was about to explode.

Adelaide's breath hitched, and panic seizing her. Her attempts to voice objections were mirroring my own, unable to form a single word.

It was then that I realized, I'm getting married, no, I'm getting forced to marry her. Adelaide Winston, the devil herself. Even though we have always fought and tried to kill one another she occupied my every thought, and not always in a bad way. She was unbelievably attractive with her dimpled smile to her captivating honey eyes. And her body....God, she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen.

But the thought about me and her getting married is almost laughable. I hate the idea of being married to her. I will admit that she is extremely attractive but she is also a stuck up brat that I hate. Even if we somehow end up getting married I will never reproduce with her. Never.

My thoughts vanished as she stood abruptly, the chair scraping against the fine wood-floor, her father's stern gaze bore into her with disappointment and disgust. Panic etched across her features, and a sense of protectiveness washed over me. I wanted to reach out, to alleviate the fear in her eyes, but the weight of expectations and familial obligations kept me rooted to my seat.

As Adelaide stumbled backward, the room seemed to spin around her. A genuine worry crept over me, an uncomfortable recognition that this arranged union wasn't just a business deal. She was a woman grappling with the weight of our families' decisions.

Before she managed to hit the ground I was quick on my feet catching her in the last second. I didn't care about the strong hate I had for her this very moment, my only worry being of her health.

" Where is the doctor located?" - I rushed out before I could finish thinking. I threaded my long arms underneath her perfect smooth thighs and her delicate waist before standing up with my beautiful future in my arms.

"U-I- U- Up the stairs, first door to the right" Her father mumbled too shocked by the scene infront of him to be able to form words.

I ignored the questioning stares and followed the directions I was given. Before I knew it I was knocking at a bright door bearing a gold plaque that said "Doctor" written in cursive.

After getting Adelaide some help and driving back home after the long meeting I was more than exhausted. The only thing on my mind being sleep.

While exiting my father's bulletproof G-wagon I made sure not to pay any attention to Isabella, she has taken a liking to me, showing it numerous times even though I strongly don't reciprocate the feeling. I have blown off some steam with her a few times before but that is long gone now. I Haven't let anyone touch me for almost two years now, I decided I wanted to wait for the one. Now that I have been sold off to Adelaide it seems almost stupid.

On further thought maybe I should go out tonight and have some fun, it's not like I will ever do anything with that poubelle! I sent a quick message in the group-chat to my trusty friends Tobias, Enzo and Xander.
