I couldn't wait to head home and just lay down on my couch, waiting for Gavis game to begin. Training was absolutely draining, we didn't get any rest, we just kept going.
I was on the sofa wearing Gavis jersey, eating some take away noodles. Not the best meal for me but I frankly did not care, I just needed spicy Chinese noodles.
Before the game started I send a silly selfie of me in his jersey to Gavi, wishing him good luck.
I knew he wouldn't see it until after the game but I guess it was a nice gesture to do, since he does the same for me.
The team was walking outside the tunnel, ready for kick off. My eyes searched for the number six, finding him immediately in his white Barcelona jersey.
It was a good match, with lots of intensity but Barça had the better chances. Still, the first half stayed goalless. After the break and some tiktoks later, the second half begun. We scored the first goal in the 53rd minute, Lewi hit it beautifully into the left corner. Sadly our lead was equalized after five minutes. It seemed like the match will end in a draw but then in the 84th minute, Gavi assisted Ferran to make it 1-2.
I was smiling widely, seeing Gavi jump upon the players backs, giving them little kisses like he gave me one some weeks ago.

The next two days were pure torture. Practice was draining me, I felt pain in my ankle again from a previous injury. Of course I've got it checked and have physiotherapy now, but that's just another appointment added on my already full plate. I haven't slept well the last week, my thoughts were circulating around all these comments or paparazzi pictures about me, not really helping me sleep. Gavi just came home this afternoon from Bilbao, so we haven't seen each other since. I could tell both of us were stressed, we also didn't really text much.
Gavi probably would want me to tell him about my sleeping problems or my negative thoughts about the media, but he's already enough stressed, so I'm keeping it for myself at the moment.
It was seven in the evening and I was driving home from an intense training session, when I saw blue and red lights flickering across the street. As I came closer I saw the fire department and several police cars parked in front of a building. It already seemed suspicious enough that the police was in my street, but as I drove closer I realized it was my apartment complex.
I felt my heart drop, my mouth was wide open in shock. I parked the car somewhere besides all the chaos and walked over to the place where I usually live.
My steps grew faster and I was now standing in front of a police officer, him looking at me a bit confused.
„What is going on?" I asked him, coming right to the point.
„We can't give information to unauthorized people." The officer replied coldy, already making my blood boil. I had absolutely no patience today.
„I live here for gods sake, can I please go to my apartment now?" I was pissed, the last week was so exhausting and now having the fire department and police in front of me didn't make the situation any better.
„Name?"
„Lucia Torres." The police officer gave me a look but I didn't care, he was as rude as I was.
The officer checked a list, then nodded his head.
„There has been a gas leak in your apartment complex. All residents had to be evacuated."
Gas leak? Really?
„Okay... Well is there any information of how long it has to be evacuated?" I asked, to be honest I had no idea what a gas leak meant. I just wanted to go to bed in the next hour.
