Born To Be Real, Not Perfect

Chapter one The meeting

I am sitting at my desk already, when the last bell rings.
"Okay guys, today is test day! Do your best, and good luck!"
Mrs.Amari says with a smile.
After passing them out, she tells us to start.
I see Amber copying me, so I right down super rediculous answers, then erase them as she turns away.
The bell just rings, and I am making my way to the bus when a tall, red headed lady bumps into me.
"Excuse me, do you happen to have any... Uh, talents?" She asks. Automatically I think she is crazy, but why lie?
"Well I love acting!" I reply, somewhat confused.
"Great! Come to this office tonight! I am gonna transform you! You can become an actress with my help! I know it sounds crazy, but trust me!"
She hands me a card with an address, with a huge grin.
"Wait, what?" I say, but she is already gone...

As I open the door to my house I see my mom cooking something that smells delicious.
"Hey honey! How was your day? I love you!"
She says before I can put my backpack down.
"Great! I love you too mom! I actually ran into this nice lady, and she wants to see my acting 'skills' and possibly 'transform me.' I'm not sure what it means, but I have nothing better to do,"I explain.
"That's odd... So are you leaving now?" She replies uneasily.
I smile and nod.
"Well, I'll see you in an hour! Bye mom! Love you!"
"Good luck," she says, with the uneasy voice again.

"That's amazing! You are so talented Erin!"
I blush.
"Honestly! Will you become an actress? I will be your personal stylist, and manager! I know, it's an odd mix."
Jessica practically shouts.
"Uh I guess so? Don't you need to transform me, or whatever? What does that mean, anyway?"
She nods.
"Okay Hun, I know it sounds crazy. I just need you to look a little more...glamorous? I'm sorry, that sounds so rude I just-" she rambles.
"Heh, it's okay... I don't spend time trying to look decent."
"Erin, don't you see? You are a natural beauty!" She said sincerely, and I blushed.
"Well, time to make you even more beautiful!"
I am nervous, but I sit back.
"Goodbye old Erin." She says, before flicking on the hair curler.
