*Jeff's POV*Slendy walked into my room, his features showing a happy, or rather, sly expression on his face. His tall figure stood at the doorway and he said into my mind, "we're going. I have someone new here. He's going to be your partner."
I sighed and slid the knife I was sharpening into my pocket, "alright."
He waited for me to be at his side before the static in the air grew and my head felt a slight pain when everything went dark. When the place in front of me grew into focus, I noticed we were far deeper into Slender woods than most people would go, even us creepypastas wouldn't come here often unless it was for a job Slendy would give us. The damp air around us brought up a fog, making only a meter around us visible. Slendy chuckled in my head and spoke, "we're close, but you will have to stay here."
I tilted my head in confusion glancing in his direction, he looked at me, or faced me and clarified, "this is a very shy... How do I put it?" I waited for him to continue, very curious now, "Elf."
I took a step back and felt his cold bony hand on my shoulder. He looked down and pushed me to the ground. A faint breathing noise could be heard, but it was muffled by the thick fog. "Stay here." Slendy warned before disappearing from my sight.
I sat there, looking around, the only thing visible was a big tree, the one I was sitting on and grass everywhere. There were the outlines of more trees, but it was all blurred. Rustling sounds came from nearby, I turned around but saw nothing. I found a sharp stone and took out my knife beginning to sharpen it. The rustling sounded again, this time closer, making me drop the stone and grab my other knife. I slowly stood up and glanced around. There was a figure a little over half of my size beside a tree slightly to my left. It looked observant, not ready to take me on. I loosened the grip on my knives. The figure suddenly stumbled forward letting out an eerie breath. I lunged forward and caught it in my arms. The once unidentifiable figure took form of a body facing the ground. It was light and had soft blond hair. The person had a green hat, sweater, and brown pants. It had a sword hanging from its back. I lifted the sword up and saw blood coming from the side of the body. Instead of the killing instinct I usually had telling me to carry out its suffering, something told me to find a safe spot for it to rest and heal, if it could do so on its own.
I turned the body around to face me, it was a boy, around 16, but he was small, so it made it harder to properly guess his age. He had long, pointy ears and small, but plump, pink lips. His eyes were closed, so I couldn't see them. He wore white shorts underneath, which were beginning to turn red from the boy's blood. I slung him over my shoulder, shocked again by the light weight. The tree I had once been sitting on seemed to have sturdy branches. I secured him by strapping his sword holder around us both. I climbed up the tree until the branches were beginning to thin out. I wondered what was taking Slendy so long...
The boy stirred and I unstrapped him. I leaned him against the trunk of the tree and put the sword beside me. His face was so gentle... God, he was beautiful, oddly beautiful at that. His blonde hair fell onto his eyes and ears, I moved them away. I stared at his face until I remembered that he was hurt. I finished unzipping the partly unzipped sweater in a hurry. There wasn't too much blood, but then again, he was a pretty small boy. He let out a groan as I pulled his white shirt up. I touched his pale white skin, sending the nerves at the tip of my fingers crazy. He seemed to be hurt from behind, so I turned him around again, resting his bare chest on my black jeans. The cut was pretty small, around the length of a paperclip, there wasn't blood leaking out. Where had the rest of the blood come from?
Slendy's voice suddenly broke my thoughts and I stopped examining the elfish-looking boy. "I see there was no need for me to introduce."
I stared at the fog around us. What did he mean, introduce? Was this my partner? So he WAS an elf. Slendy's white face slowly rose up and I questioned defensively, "how was he supposed to greet me if he was hurt?"
Slender man rose slightly higher and sat on the branch in front of me, "he can heal himself, he was waiting for me, but moved."
I narrowed my eyes, that didn't explain the fact for why he had a cut, which was probably bigger since he could heal himself. Slendy seemed to smile, "partners are supposed to care for each other, if they don't, then, they aren't meant to work together."
He looked at the boy's body on my legs, "from the look of this, I chose correctly." He shifted his gaze back to me, "if you were wondering, I was the one to cut him, to see your reaction, whether it was to finish him up, or help him."
I looked down to see the boy stirring.
*Ben's POV*
I felt a sharp sting in my back and stayed still. Then I started feeling slight chills on my entire torso except the front. I realized that I wasn't wearing my favorite white shirt or green sweater and that I was laying on somebody's legs. I knew Slendy was close, I could feel the static air around me, but I wasn't sure who I was resting on. It could be my partner. I knew that if I moved they both would notice. That's when I heard Slendy's voice talk to the person I was laying on, "if you were wondering, I was the one to cut him, to see your reaction, whether it was to finish him up, or help him."
The person sighed and I moved to see his face. Jeff. Jeff was my partner, and Slendy had to cut me on my back in order to prove it, great. Jeff's red lips stood out against his smooth white skin and pitch black hair. Although the fact that he didn't have eyelids and his eyes were a piercing sky blue should have creeped me out, it fit him very well, and so did his permanent smile. His eyes were wide as he took in my own red eyes bordered with black. I could feel his heart beat speeding up from his legs rushing to his face, making him blush slightly. I turned to Slendy, who was also watching my every move. He suddenly spoke into my mind, "I didn't cut you too bad, did I?"
I shook my head, reluctant to speak. Jeff spoke in a deep, rich voice, making him seem around 19, "we ARE going to take him to the mansion, right?"
I turned to Slendy as he nodded, he asked, apparently worried, "can you walk on your own?"
I shrugged, Jeff looked at me with confused eyes, Slendy explained, "he can't hear what I'm telling you unless I allow it, unlike you."
I sat up slowly with the help of Jeff who told me, "take it slow."
I glared at him, "I can take care of my self." But then I crashed into his chest from the pain in my back. His warmth felt comforting since I was freezing.
He chuckled and rested a warm hand on my shoulder, "I'll carry you back."
Slendy spoke to Jeff, "we can teleport back."
Jeff's eyes turned dead serious, "no. He's in too much pain, it'll hurt him more." I stared in shock at his kindness, this was a killer who supposedly wasn't nice to anyone, not even the people in Slendy's mansion, at least that's what I had observed from watching him from the window. He looked down at me with gentle eyes, he took my sweater and t-shirt and handed them to me. He held my waist gently as I put on my t-shirt. He let go once I had also put on my sweater. "Ready?" He asked while slinging my sword onto his back.
I nodded and he lifted my up in piggy-back style. I held onto his neck tightly, which didn't seem to bother him at all. He slowly climbed down and asked me, "what's your name?"
I mentally face palmed, this guy didn't know as much about me as I knew about him. "Ben drowned." He nodded, making his hair brush against my face. It was soft and smooth, I leaned my head onto his and he chuckled again, it was such a nice sound... Wait, no. It was just a laugh. Nothing special.
He started going faster once we reached the ground and were headed to his mansion. I fell asleep on the way, my body needing more time to heal itself.
