Chapter 3: Regretful Decisions

At least more than a month has passed since I entered this world.

I was looking around further for more monsters to hunt. I learned quite a lot of their behaviors ever since I came into this world.

They really were mindless creatures with barely any sense of danger.

Some up and tried to attack me only to fail miserably. The smart monsters that did avoid me didn't stand much of a chance against a Magic Sense boosted by Great Sage's calculative capabilities. I tried constantly over and over to see if the smart ones would talk but unfortunately they would either try attacking me or continue trying to run away. Great Sage suggested the same thing as well that they were really just mindless beasts that had no real idea about communicating.

It wasn't at all like my old world where they could talk and we could become friends. They were more like deer...

I was able to flush out nearly every single monster in the area to a point that there really weren't much left. The only real monsters I could find after a certain point were goblins which started proliferating all across the plains. They provided me good Skills but they began harder and harder to level up since the Skills from the Goblins were so low. After some time I decided to end up ignoring them since they didn't provide me anything useful. Even the crystals I would absorb from them became practically worthless. I would need to devour an absurd amount of them just to make progress.

There were the occasional strong ones but they were also the ones that attempted to attack me or hide from me. Safe to say that those ones didn't really stand much of a chance against me.

I had initially begun trying to build a temporary hut-like building in the center where the pedestal I started out in was, but the more I built it, the more I was reminded of my old home.

I really shouldn't try to settle down anywhere until I can figure out why I was trapped in this new world...

Since my entry into this world, I have definitely improved quite a lot.

My blade body became pretty good from looking at it. I couldn't compare it to any other weapons though since I didn't really have any on me.

Not only did my blade body seem strong but the amount of Skills I had been able to gather by using my False Body and Gluttony was certainly something.
