As soon as we got inside the house all I could see was blood. A lot of it. I immediately knew that someone had to be dead from the amount and I just hoped with my whole heart that it wasn't my little sister.

Everyone, even Grayson let out a shaky breath and started following the blood trail and when we got into the kitchen we saw them.

We all let out relived breaths that the blood didn't belong to our sister and I felt my heart beat a little slower with every new breath I took.

We saw the traitors that ruined our entire family. That ruined our lives. Unfortunately they were as dead as you can get. Both shot point blank through the head.

"I wanted to do that" my twin and Gray grumbled lowly at the same time. I knew all of my other brothers including myself wanted the same but we didn't voice it out loud.

"Let's split up into 4 pairs and search the house." Aiden quickly and quietly ordered and we all did as asked and readied our guns.

Me and Hunter, Aiden and Grayson, Devon and River and of course Calvin and Theodore the youngest 2 of my brothers became pairs like we usually do. When Eliana was still with us Calvin and Theo used to be a trio with her. How I wish that was our normal again.

My twin and I went past the kitchen while the rest of our brothers went their own ways in the house. We started checking multiple rooms and opening some doors that were locked. It wasn't very clean and I was sure that if you licked the carpet you would get a deadly disease. I was the one in med school after all.

We found 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a storage closet. So far nothing indicated a teenage girl living here.

"Is this the right house?" I whispered to my brother and he slowly turned around and gave me a dumbfounded look.

"Don't you think the bodies gave that away already?" He asked and turned around again to keep walking.

"Yeah, yeah. You're right, i'm just overthinking this. Where is her stuff?" I mutter to myself.

"I thought you were the smart twin? Maybe it's just upstairs where the others are checking?" Hunter said to ease my mind and his at the same time.

We really want to find our sister but at the same time I don't want these to have been her living conditions while we lived on the other side of town in a mansion. In fact I don't think any human being should live in these conditions because it would actually make them sick.

Unfortunately everyone doesn't have that luxury like me and my brothers. We have extremely good living conditions when it comes to everyday life but our family has very poor living conditions in the sense that they die. Everyone that we love die, that's what it feels like at least.

I shake my head to clear my thoughts just as we see a door at the end of the hallway. Hunter gets to it first and tries the door handle, but it's locked. Fortunately it locks from our side so it's easy to get it open.

We hear footsteps behind us and immediately turn around guns raised and ready.

"Whoa" says Theo with wide eyes and hands up.

Aiden steps forward and between me and Hunter and raises both his hands to push our guns down by our sides before he speaks.

"The rest of the house is clear and I have called some of our men in to take care of the mess in the kitchen." he states calmly now that all of our brothers occupy the hallway.

"Find anything?" Devon questions us while looking over our shoulders.

Hunter turns towards the door behind our backs as I answer our older brother "Last door, we were just about to open it when Theodore here snuck up on us." I say with a teasing tone to try and lighten the mood in this hallway right now.

"Hey! Stop with the full name already! And for your information I wasn't sneaking. I'm not som-"

"Enough." Aiden says authoritatively.

We all shut our mouths and turn towards our eldest brother.

"Let's open the door already." Gray says impatiently while moving closer to it, so that's exactly what Hunter does.

The door swings open with a creak and before us is a staircase into a dark basement.

We all exchange looks and then once again turn our eyes towards the open doorway leading down.

Aiden takes the first step into the threshold and then further moves down the stairs. We all follow him down one cautious step at a time.

Both these new chapters have been really short and i'm leaving y'all on cliffhangers I know. Sorry...? Not really (;

I'm just trying to find my motivation for writing again and I actually feel like this is helping. Not having the pressure to reach a certain word count. For now I think this is how I will do it. I'll stop writing a chapter when I feel like it's a good breaking point and where it will be most convenient for me to start the next chapter a certain way!

I promise there will be longer chapters later on in the story because I myself love long chapters. But for these 2 chapters and maybe some of the next ones this is how it will be.
