THEA QUARTS was royalty...or at least that is what the public believed in the year of 1939. The Quarts was a wealthy christian family that'd been thriving for years.
Nineteen-year-old Thea Quarts was the eldest in the family and had a reputation to uphold along side her two ill-mannered sisters Harper and Ava Quarts.
No—this isn't a Cinderella story. Although Thea is always forgotten under the problems of her two younger sisters, Thea was the play doll everyone wanted to wake up to on the snowy morning on Christmas Day.
Thea believed she was all beauty and nothing more, always changing herself to the liking of what others wanted.
Girls wanted to be her (which they could never be) and the boys wanted to be with her (which they always failed at).
Except for one boy.
And that would be her biggest regret.
When the eighteen year old falls pregnant, it's safe to say her Christian parents were furious that she would do such a thing before marriage.
But still determined to keep up their perfect reputation, they hide the pregnancy from the public eye for nine months.
