Ji Hu failed to get the invite to the ceremony for a new build under Mirae Group. She found out about it through a reporter friend she made in her early years as JiJi. Ji Hu had Gu Won behind her. Ji Hu was dressed for a photo opt and the quickest invite to a wedding possible. Seok Min was giving a speech as the current chair and when he saw Ji Hu approaching, his smile fell. A smile appeared on Ji Hu's face, however.

The family wasn't pleased to see the bastard child approaching with her fateful bodyguard that Su Ahn tried to steal.

Ji Hu had Gu Won stay back as she climbed onto the stage, knowing that the cameras were pointed at her instead of at her family. Ji Hu stopped in front of Do Kyung. "Why so surprised?" She asked.

"You never show up at events like this." He commented. "You think they're superficial."

Ji Hu looked back at the audience, a smirk appearing on her face. "Well, dear nephew, suerficial actions can go a long way." Ji Hu commented as she walked by him. She stood next to Se Ra, a smile on her face for the press who were now suddenly interested in the groundbreaking event. Ji Hu clapped at the end of Seok Min's speech. "Great job, oppa." She beamed sarcastically. He stood between his wife and half-sister. "By the way, the host made a mistake. You're not the chairman but the acting chairman." Ji Hu pointed out.

"We don't need to advertise the unstable situation we're in, do we?" Seok Min asked.

"No, I guess not. But it won't be unstable for much longer, oppa." Ji Hu purposely used oppa when she spoke to Seok Min, especially when she had a bombshell to drop. "I'm getting married tomorrow." And just like clockwork, exactly how Ji Hu hoped, Seok Min, Se Ra, and Su Ahn's heads turned to her with shocked expressions on their faces. Do Kyung did the same.

"Let us move on to the climax of today's ceremony, the symbolic groundbreaking." The host said, unaware of Ji Hu's groundbreaking announcement to her family.

"I didn't have time to prepare wedding invitations. So, my word is your official invitation. You understand, right?" Ji Hu asked, batting her eyelashes at Seok Min. "We're family, after all." She was throwing that right back in his face.

Ji Hu walked off the stage first, not bothering with the groundbreaking ceremony. She looked around for Gu Won, wondering where he ran off to. However, as she looked around, she noticed someone with the exact same scratches on his neck as the attacker had. Ji Hu's face fell as she quickly walked forward, trying to get a good look at the man's face.

Just as Ji Hu was about to see his face, a confetti popper went off, startling her. Gu Won caught her before she fell backward. "You're so clumsy."

"Marry me."

"Do I have to?"

"It will be excellent publicity for F&B. Who would say no to JiJi endorsing our new product?" Do Hee asked as she added the gel packet into the cup of water for Ji Hu to drink.

"This feels like exploitation, Do Hee."

"You haven't even tried it yet. Tell me how you love it to the camera first." Do Hee said.

"Exactly like exploitation." Ji Hu said as Do Hee shoved the cup into her hands.

"Your fans must be sobbing knowing that JiJi is officially off the market." Ki Hwan commented as two of Do Hee's employees got the camera ready for the video.
