then and now

last day of summer break

tommorow is the first day back from summer break, of course i woke up a bit early then i usally do so i can savour this day before i have to go back to that hell hole.
i got bored so i call my best friend jadan me and jadan had been best friends since the 3rd grade we are now in tenthh. he picks up the phone, "hello?'' said jadan in a tired raspy voice as if he had just woken up ''Hey JT'' I said ''why are you calling me so early?'' he asked ''i just wanted to see how you were doing, and if you wanted to come over''
''it's to early to walk'' said jadan ''it's only 8:03'' i replied ''still daisy'' jadan said in a stern voice ''i'll call a uber, i will pay for you'' i said ''fineeeee'' replied jadan. a few minutes later i hear the door open since we are so close and my parents know him well he has keys to my house i walked up to jadan and gave im a hug after that hug he asked '' where are you're parents?'' ''work'' i replied me and him both walked to my room ''what do you wanna do?'' i asked ''how about mario kart?'' he asked. after a few rounds we decided we should do something else ''wanna throw the football around?'' i agreed so we grabbed the football and headed to the back yard, we threw the ball around for about fifteen minutes '' it's so hot out here and you're sweating like crazy why don't you take the hoodie off?'' asked jadan my heart dropped when i heard this because i was wearing that hoodie to hide self harm cuts i made last night ''I just don't want to'' i replied. it's now 10:05 me and jadan decided to go to a ice cream shop that's nearby, i ordered a cookies and cream while jadan just got plain old chocolate ''god you're so plain'' i said ''hey! i think chocolate is the best'' I chuckled we started to have a conversation on all the new people we will meet and all the new teachers ''i am not exited for the first day of 10th grade'' i said "same" agreed jadan by the time we finishe our ice cream it was 11:00 so we decided to go back to my house i got in the pasenger seat of jadans car "why did you not walk to my house?'' I asked "because i didn't feel like walking'' answered jadan ''i could've ordered you a uber so you didn't have to waste your gas'' i said '' you're sweet Daisy'' said jadan, and OMG did this give me butterflies. on the way home i could not help but realise that i have a crush on this man once we got up my drive way he parked the car and looked at me "thank you for asking me to come over" he said ''like i said before you can come over any time, we both unbukcled and got out the car and once we got inside we layed on the couch and watched a horror movie on netflix at one point i fell asleep for a while and once i woke up i relised i fell asleep on his lap i quickly got up and apologized he chuckled and said "it's okay" i continued watching the movie slightly embarrassed. when the movie finished we got up and made lunch for my mom and dad, they usually come home for lunch i air fried som patties while jadan cut up some onions and lettuce, once the patties finished air frying i put the patties in buns while jadan put the onions and lettuce on the hamburger then after we were finished making the two hamburgers i put them on a plate and brought it to the dinning table. me and jadan played a game of uno to pass the timewhile we wait for my parents to get home and after two round i hear a knock on the door i ran over to open it, ''hi dad hi mom'' i said jadan ran over and greeted my parents ''oh jadan how nice to see you'' said my mom ''nice to see you to'' replied jadan "we made hamburgers for you guys" i said ''im afraid we have to pick them up and go it's busy right now sweetie'' said my step dad "it's ok'' i said "i'll be right back" i ran to the dinning table to get the plates and then i ran to the kitchen to put the hamburgers into a container "here you go" i said "Thank you daisy we really appreciate you" my mom said i gave them both a hug goodbye and so did jadan when they left we watched another movie when the movie ended it was now 3:15 "im tired" i said "well lets take a nap" said jadan we both slept on the couch scince it was weird to sleep in the same room as you're boy best friend. we took a really long nap beacause by the time i woke up it was 5:57 jadan was not awake yet so i let him sleep as i put on youTube video on the TV it was about murder and by the time jadan woke up it was 7:00pm "Good morning sleepy head" i said teasing him "what time is it? he asked "it's 7:00 pm you've been asleep for a long time" i said "shit i gotta go" why" i asked "my parents are going to be home soon" jadan said "oh well ok um see you tommorrow" got up and hugged him goodbye and once he left i started to watch more hour long crime videos. its now 8:00pm my parents are taking night shift so i knew i would have to be a responsible and take a shower and go to bed at an appropriate time i started the shower and i looked in the mirror for a long time i could not help but think how ugly i am and i start crying then the crying turned into balling so i grabbed the pocket knife from the drawer and rolled down my sleeve i started crying so hard i was not even thinking and i cut 2 deep cuts on my wrist its been about fifteen minutes so i went a head and got n the shower to wash my hair and all this blood after i was done i wrapped a bandage around my wrist so it does no bleed again i got dressed and went to bed a bit earlier then usual so im not so tired in the morning i layed down thinking alot and feeling guilty that i cut myself afer i said last time i was never going to do it again and eventually i fall asleep.
