"I need a tutor? Seriously Coach?" I was stunned. I'm the best player on this team and Coach Stone is honestly threatening to sit me out for the first game! Huh, go ahead Stone, because when we lose it'll be all on you, not me. I heard Coach Stone sigh as he toted the dummies from the locker room onto the field. "Matt, it's not in my hands anyways, but you're a good kid and I want to see you excel in this world. Your education is your back-up plan if football doesn't work out. Now I've talked to Mrs. Huggins and she's had one of her honors students agree to help you. Infact, you should be heading in to go meet her." Coach dismissed me with a jerk of his thumb. "Whatever Coach, see you later." I dumped my pads on the locker room floor and folded my jersey up. Stacy better be my tutor, I treatened. Stacy, with those gorgeous blue eyes and long tan legs. I started to smile to myself just thinking about her. Hmm, the wheels in my head began to turn, maybe this tutoring thing wouldn't be so bad. "Hey, Matt?" Coach called after me. "Yeah?" "Be nice." Coach instructed me.

"Now where is that boy at?" Mrs. Huggins mumbled to herself. I was already late for lunch and knew that I would have to face the wrath of Stacy about this unexpected turn of events. I have to tutor Matthew Thompson, the hot jock who I bet I've never even crossed his mind. Why couldn't it be Stacy? Maybe it won't be so bad with Matt. Besides, maybe I can show him how amazing I am if I don't do anything to scare him away first. Maybe we could start dating after he falls in love with me. Matt, with his soft voice and intense eyes and..... "Ah! Here he is!" The sound of Mrs. Huggins's high pitched voice drug me back out of my daydreams. I turned around and literally felt my heart skip a beat or three. I couldn't breathe beause there were those piercing golden brown eyes boring into mine. He was wearing that shirt that I thought looked the best on him, the baby blue one that complimented his skin tone. He had on jeans and his grey and red Nikes. I suddenly felt uncomfortable, like he was judging all my flaws right there on the spot. "Matthew, meet Paisley, she's agreed to be your new tutor!" A shy smile slid it's way across his face as he finally spoke to me. "Hey, Paisley. I'm looking forward to getting to know you." I swallowed. What have I gotten myself into? I thought.

Paisley Sampson. Of all girls, Paisley Sampson. I saw the immediate effect I had on her. I knew right then that she was my gateway to get to Stacy. This was going to be so easy, I thought. She'll be like puddy in my hands. I smiled as I extended my arm. "Hey Paisley, I'm looking forward to getting to know you." I watched as her eyes widened at my sudden change of attitude from this morning outside in the parking lot. Oh yes, this would be easy. Stacy, this one's all for you, baby.
