As I was walking through the halls I couldn't help but hate myself for being me. This ugly duckling in the big pond. I need to get to my friends. Oh I forgot they have other plans with their better friends. Well at least I have someone who understands.

He didn't really seem in the mood to do something. " I thought we were going to the party ". Crap! I completely forgot about the party! The totally cute football star, Luke, throws once a year. Luke throws a party every other week but this one was special.
His annual colorful masquerade type party. "Yea about that ... I don't know if I should go" "WHAT WHY NOT YOU HAVE TO!!! YOU PROMISED!!! No one will even know who you are" "I know but parties aren't really my thing" "Nikole, nothing social is ever your thing."
