Episode Nine

"Jason and Max rushed forward, covering what seemed to be dozen of meters in only a few steps. Me and Andrew swiftly threw our arms in front of our faces, blocking their initial strike.  We stared them in the arm through gritted teeth, their fists pressing into our skin"

Jason

(Pleading voice) Please...he has to be stopped. 

"Cruz dashed forward, making a wide downward slash with his sword onto Jason's head. Jason flipped backwards, narrowly avoiding his blade as Max took a quick leap backwards to match him. They both took their fighting stances" 

Cruz

We have to put these guys out of their misery.

Me

Right. 

"I leap forward as Cruz holds his hand out towards Jason. Jason attempts to move be seemed to be frozen as his eyes temporarily reverts from its edo tensei state to its normal state. He grunted as I hit him with an earth shattering punch to the jaw, making him stumble backwards. I continue my attack, pouncing on him again with another jab. Max jumped to his defense, attempting to leap onto me from the side. I quickly threw my arm out, creating an invisible barrier that briefly turned a bright neon purple when Max's fist collided with it. Jason took of advantage of his distraction, hitting me with a jumping kick to the chest so hard it sent me tumbling backwards along the ground. He leapt into the air, attempting to come down onto me with his fist, but was stopped when he got hit in the gut by a large volume of water that knocked him back down to earth. He landed smoothly on the ground, his eyes reverting back to their pitch black state once again"

Brutus

(Smiling) I see you brats have gotten better since the last time we've met!

Me

(Standing to my feet and dusting myself off) You shouldn't underestimate us. 

Brutus

(Laughs) Underestimate? I already know from that short exchange what your CAs are. You can make invisible barriers, Andrew can use ranged water attack like a water mage if you will. And Cruz's CA isn't too much different than mines in that he can inject his own charka into other things. 

Me

(Alarmed) You've figured it out that fast?

Brutus

I've been around for a long time. But unfortunately for you, Cruz's charka is too weak to reverse the effects of my Edo Tensei permanently!

Cruz

(To me and Andrew) He's right. I can only reverse the effects of his CA for a moment. 

Me

That's alright. We'll just have to use that timing window efficiently to get the job done. 

Butus

Jason, Max. These three gentle are in possession of three dogmas and blue discs. Collect them for me!
