20xx January 21stIt's been about a month or so since I've been in Japan. A lot in that time has changed, for starters, the ghouls have become more aggressive with humans, some even breaking into people's houses instead of eating just the random night walkers.
This leads me to the next topic my apartment neighbor was a victim of a said break-in. I wasn't home at the time, no I was being held back in class by my shitty professor who I'm sure hates my freaking guts. Not sure what I did to him though but it doesn't matter.
Why? you may ask. Well it's simple really, I'm currently too stressed about finding another apartment since the latest victim was my neighbor, and I would like to avoid being a ghoul's next meal if I can. This is also why I'm walking the streets of Setagaya-ku, trying to find another residence.
So far I've only seen maybe 2 or 3 apartments but none have peaked my interest until now, that is! I stopped walking and stood in front of a 6 floored white building. It looked nice around the outside as it was surrounded by other semi-shorter but identical buildings.
I walked up to the entrance and entered the apartment building. I scanned the area before finding who I thought to be the owner walking over I politely called for his attention. "Excuse me sir, but are you the owner?" he put down his coffee and newspaper turning his full-on attention to me.
"Yes! I am what business do you bring?" I took a minute to calm my nerves before continuing, "I'm currently looking for another apartment, and thought that I'd stop in and see if you have any available.-"
"You see the person on the news who was the latest victim of a ghoul breaking into homes was my neighbor, so I no longer feel safe in my old one!" the man nodded, "I'm really sorry to hear that, and yes I have a unit available you can go up there and check it out if you'd like!"
I bowed and thanked him for the opportunity on such short notice, "Here are the keys, and just put them on the desk if I'm not here by the time you come back, the apartment is on the 4th floor!" I gave him another thanks before heading up to the floor.
When I get to the floor I look for the unit number and spot it just a little way down the hall, opening the door and unlocking it I step in. The entrance was about 3 or 4 feet long, it had a shoe cabinet to the right of me.
Stepping up on the main floor theirs another closet on my right but it was bigger and double-doored, and on my left was yet another closet and the toilet. I walked up a little more and was now standing in front of the powder room which led to the wet room.
I turned to my left and was met with some of the whole view of the living room, and parts of the kitchen. I walked out of the hallway and towards the area seeing, the living room/dining room/kitchen. It was a lot more spacious than my current apartment.
I walked up towards the area that I'm guessing was the bedroom, it was also very spacious as well. I liked the design of the apartment, and the atmosphere it brings, and also not to mention it's a little way out from where I used to stay, so in turn not being attacked by a ghoul was also an added plus.
^i think I just found my new apartment!^
Mini skip
I'd just left the new apartment building 20 minutes ago, the owner wasn't around when I returned the key so I left a note on the desk with it to let him know that I'd like to move into the unit and that he could contact me whenever it's ready for me to move into.
It didn't take me long to get to my current apartment, when I entered the home I was so happy that I'd soon be able to move from this dangerous ward and into one that's a lot safer. I took off my shoes and headed to start my bath, after I was done cleaning myself I began making dinner.
