It was now Sunday morning and June had just woken up from her slumber.

June got up and went into the bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror for a few moments noticing how small her figure was now.

She had dropped maybe 25 pounds from when school had just started.

June dropped her clothes and hopped into the shower.

The whole time in the shower all she could think about was Joey. She couldn't get her mind off of him at all. She still did love Malaki too but the vibes just wasn't there as much anymore because of what he did to her.

June got out the shower as she turned the water off and grabbed her towel.

She dried her body off and grabbed her phone off the bathroom counter which was ringing.

"Hello?" June asked.

"Wassup..we ain't talk in a minute." Malaki said in his deep voice.

" I know.. I just been busy with school work this weekend. " June said.

"You good.. I'll let you know if I can swing by there later today. Alright?" Malaki asked.

"Alright." June said.

"Aight bye, I love you." Malaki responded.

"I love you too, bye." June said as she hung up.

She continued to do her morning routine and washed her face and brushed her teeth and all of the other things.

A few minutes later, she got back into her room and got dressed.

June went downstairs and went into the kitchen where she saw her mom sitting at the table reading a newspaper.

"Hey... good morning mom." June said in order to make conversation.

"Hey, how'd you sleep." June's mom asked.

"Decent." June replied as she fixed some cereal and put her bowl on the table and sat down as she looked at her mom.

"Ready to see your dad again?" June's mom asked.

"Of course.. it's been 4 or 5 months." June replied as she ate her cereal.

June and her mom continued talking for another 40 to 45 minutes.

When June finished eating, she rinsed her bowl and placed it back into the cabinet.

June went back upstairs and laid on her bed watching YouTube videos.

She began to laugh as she watched some of the videos.

A few minutes later she felt her phone vibrate.

She looked up seeing that it was a text from Malaki which said that he was outside waiting for her.

June grabbed her purse and headed downstairs.

"Mom, I'm going out with a friend." June said.

"Okay. That's fine but same rules as yesterday, okay?" June's mom questioned.

"Okay, love you mom." June said as she kissed her mom on the cheek and walked out the door.

She got into the passenger side of the car and Malaki began to drive.

"So what we doing today." June asked.

"You'll see when we get there." Malaki responded as he continued to drive and didn't make eye contact at all.

June laid her head on her seat and watched as the trees whipped by through the window.

She was wondering why Malaki was acting so weird. He usually was more talkative. June just let it go and thought that maybe she was overreacting.

June scrolled on her phone and watched Tik Toks for the remaining of the ride.

It was awkward and silent.

A few moments later they finally reached Malaki's house.

Malaki got out the car and walked towards his house without even opening the door for June like he usually did.

June instantly knew something was off. She began to panick and believe that Malaki found out about what she had done with Joey.

She opened the door and walked towards Malaki's home.

When he eventually got the door open they both went in and went straight into his room as always.

"So what did you have to tell me?" June asked as she looked up at Malaki.

" I wanna be real with you. And don't hate me for this shit bro." Malaki said as he looked down at the ground.

"Yea? you know you can tell me anything baby." June replied as she went up to Malaki and cupped his face in her hands as she looked up at him.

"So... you know that girl right?" Malaki asked as he didn't make eye contact with June at all.

She could sense it was definitely something that was really bad which Malaki had to tell her.

"Which girl?" June asked.

"The one you caught me with the other night." Malaki replied.

"What about her?" June asked as her tone slightly changed.

She wanted to know what Malaki wanted to tell her badly now.

"You know how I said that shit wouldn't happen again? Please don't be mad at me right now." Malaki said.

"Malaki don't tell me you did this shit.. please don't." June said as her eyes began to get teary.

"I fucked up again... yesterday night she came over and we fucked...but that's not the only thing.. I'm thinking about taking shit seriously with her cause I think I caught feelings.... so yea I wanna break up.. we could still be friends though." Malaki said.

"Are you fucking serious right now?" June said as she smacked the fuck out of Malaki.

"After all the shit you put me through and did to me? After all the people I rejected and ignored for you? You really gone do this shit to me right now? Wow. Just wow." June responded as she began to pace back in forth in the room.

"Shit... I'm sorry that's just what I gotta do. " Malaki said as he smoked a blunt

"I fucking hate you bro. You literally said you loved me." June replied as she cried.

"And I do love you... but we both know this shit wasn't working bro. It was toxic as fuck." Malaki replied.

"You say it like I was the toxic one... I didn't put my hands on you.. you put yours on me." June replied as she sniffled and wiped her nose with a tissue

She really did love Malaki no matter what.

"It's cool. I forgive you. I'm not even tripping anymore. Can you just take me home right now?" June asked.
