The Venezuela's Secret

Preface

Not all vampires are made. Some are born and, in this case, Camille was. She wasn't an ordinary vampire though. She could control blood in her veins and other people. This included her parents. Yet, she never once used her power on them. This was partly because she could not use her magic until she had her first taste of blood.

The first taste of blood comes differently from vampire to vampire. It also depends on if they are born or made. If the vampire is made, then they most likely will have their taste of blood when they first emerge. It is only natural as their thirst is so great that they cannot control themselves. This is why they usually have someone to walk them through the transition.

Now when it comes to being born a vampire, that is when things can get a little rocky. Bloodlust can first develop from ages two to fifteen. If a child has their bloodlust before the age of two, typically they have developed wrong and will naturally crave blood more than those who experience bloodlust after the age of two.

If a vampire hasn't experienced bloodlust by the age of fifteen, then problems may occur. There isn't much known about what happens if you do not have bloodlust by then as it is rare. But for those who do go through that, many are not heard from again. There has been no information on what happened to them, at least none that has been documented for the public to see.

Luckily there has been some recorded documentation found within the Venezuela household. They have kept it under lock and key for over a hundred years now and nobody has found it. That was until Camille was born. She found it not long after she turned two. She still hasn't reached her bloodlust by this point, but there was something about her parents that she found strange. Now being this age, her parents found it weird she seemed wise beyond her years. But they supposed it was due to their family in general.

The Venezuela's were the most known vampire family, and they were also known for keeping things hidden. Some things that they hide are not meant to be found, but there are some things that do need to be found. The family was never good at knowing which was which. More than once they have given up information that has gotten many humans and vampires alike killed. And that was the number one rule that the family had but seemed to keep breaking. They had many rules which are listed below:

No killing innocent humans

Work and family stay separate always

When creating new vampires, you must always be with them through the process, if not you will be murdered on sight

Never turn a human by will. No still means no even as a vampire

Never tell anyone where you keep the information hidden

You will not break under torture no matter the cost

You will be prepared to die

Nothing is more important than the family name

If you are discovered, you better hide and hope you are not found again, or the slayers won't be the only ones hunting you

Slayers will stop at nothing to kill you, show them you hold no mercy

Most of all, protect your children till your last breath

There are many more, but these were all that could be found within their house. The location of the other Venezuela family members are still unknown. There was only so much that could be found, and from the looks of it the parents were able to burn most of the information they did have. The safes and vaults though, they could not burn what was in them and within them, much information was found. There was enough to know about the missing vampire children that has been happening often. There is information about the vampire experiments that are being performed among other things that will be revealed.

There was something about this family that just doesn't seem right. They were hiding things yes, but what else were they hiding that could bring the whole world into chaos and destruction? That is the question I have been searching for since they were murdered. Camille may have the answers, but from what I've been told, she remembers nothing about her past besides her family's slaughter and that can only mean one thing. Her memory was wiped, but there may be a way to bring those memories back to her.

There is much that needs to be explained and told. First, the upbringing of Camille will be shown. Then the slaughter of her parents whose names are still unknown. After that will be the finding of all the information Camille had discovered and how she managed to escape from the rest of her family and get to safety before she could be swept up into things she did not want to be mixed with. And there was also the possibility that she herself would have become one of those missing vampire kids if she had not escaped.

Included within are notes that were found, diary entries, maps and intel that was collected from Camille herself. There is also information from when there were spies at the house.
