Introduction

A young man named Kean, a senior high school student, 18 years old. He lives in California, USA but is half Filipino. He has uncountable problems and issuses, he has been dealing with it since Grade 4. He's mother died because of cancer and he's father has now another family. All he has left is his dog, Hoppy. He is currenty living in a suburb close to a city. He is studying at a school that is just 1 kilometer from he's house.

Chapter 1: School Happenings

One day, he wokes up late in a Tuesday Morning. He rushes as fast as he can, he brushes his teeth, took a bath and eats his breakfast. He said goodbye to his dog and ran to the school. The gate almost closed but just in timing, he slips right in. In USA, the technology is so advanced. Even the school gates can close automatically in a setted time.

He went to the classroom and sees Mr. Johan discussing. He is nervous to go inside but he has no choice, so he went in. Mr. Johan noticed Kean and he became angry.

Mr. Johan: AND WHY ARE YOU LATE!?....... AGAIN!?

Mr. Johan became even more frustrated. Kean became more nervous and he just went to his seat, but...

Mr. Johan: AND WHY ARE YOU GOING TO YOUR SEAT!?...WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!?

Kean: Sir Johan... I'm so terribly sorry...

Mr Johan: KEAN! I AM SO DISAPPOINTED! YOU ARE A FAILURE IN THIS CLASS! GO OUT AND FACE THE WALL! YOU WILL STAY THERE UNTIL THE END OF THE CLASS!

And so, Kean went outside the classroom without saying anything and faced the wall. He feels so disappointed to himself. He cried 1 hour straight thinking his life. And so, Mr. Johan went out the classroom.

Mr. Johan: Kean...You are a disappointment...A failure...You will not reach anything in your LIFE!

Mr. Johan left and Kean ran still crying.
Kean went to the cafeteria and sat down, trying to cover his tears. But, Stanley showed up to him.

Stanley: Hey bitch! Ohhh Kean is cryinggg... his mother probably didn't gave him money to eat. HAHAHAHHAHAHA!

Kean: Please Stanley...Not now...

Stanley: Ohhh he is sad, such a crybaby HAHAHAHAHAHAH!

Stanley, also a senior high school, 19 years old. He is Kean's worst enemy, or in short, he's bully. He started to bully him since they are elementary. He bullies Kean for fun and popularity.

Stanley: Go get me food, here's the money. Buy me a chicken nuggets and a coca-cola, get it?

Kean: Yes...

Kean goes ahead and buys the food for Stanley. As Stanley stares at him and laughs at him.

Kean: Here it is, your food...

Stanley: Hahaha, such a good boy you are huh? You want some food? Go get it.

Stanley throws a piece of chicken nugget while laughing at Kean's face. Kean ran and continued crying.

As time goes by, school is over for the day. Kean went to his house holding his tears. But the sadness got changed by happines so fast. His dog, Hoppy went to him. Kean smiled and hugged the dog. Tomorrow is Saturday and there's no school tomorrow.

Chapter 2: An Unexpected Call

Kean is just sitting on the couch watching the television with his dog. But suddenly, someone called. Kean is curious so he looked at his phone, it is her grandmother, Elisa. He quickly answered the phone and happily greeted her grandmother.

Kean: Grandma! Grandma! I'm glad that you called! It's been months since you last time called me!

Elisa: Oh don't worry about it sweety. I'm just busy doing a lot of things. But, I have something to tell you Kean.

Kean: What is it Grandma? I am open.

Elisa: I am... currently in the hospital right now and...I have a disease.

Kean: W-W-What? How? When? Why?

Elisa: I have it since last year, I have been doing a lot of work and because of that, I got a disease.

Kean: That is so sad Grandma. What can I do to help?

Elisa: You can do a favor for me. If you can. Can you... go here in the Philippines just for 3 days?

Kean: But I have school Grandma...

Elisa: If you can't, it's okay...

Kean: Don't worry Grandma, I will tell my teachers to excuse me from their classes. So I can go there and take care of you!

Elisa: So sweet of you Kean. I have to go now though. See you here!

Kean: See you there!

Kean hang-up the call and is excited to see his grandmother. But what Kean doesn't know is that Elisa, his grandmother, has only 4 days left.

Tomorrow Morning, Kean booked a flight to the Philippines and went to her Grandmother. Then, he finally saw her and gave her a hug.

Elisa: Ohh sweety your finally here!

Kean: Of course Grandma! I'm not gonna break my promise!

Kean and his grandmother hang out for 3 days, Kean took care of his grandmother and they have fun. But, the day has come and it's time for Kean to go.

Kean: It is a good experience Grandma! But I gotta go.

Elisa: I understand you sweety. See you next time!

Kean: See you Grandma!

Kean left and is now in USA again. He is happy that he had fun with his grandmother after a long time. But tomorrow, he received the news.

Chapter 3: The Sad News

The doctor contacted him and said that he's grandmother died. It is unfortunate that the doctor didn't tell him earlier.

Kean cried so hard. He hit the wall, tipped over the table and screamed so loud. He quickly booked another flight for tomorrow.

Tomorrow morning, he hurried to his flight in order to visit his grandmother.
He saw the coffin of his grandmother and he cried and became sad.

Kean: Grandma......Why didn't you tell me? Are you too worried? Atleast... I got to hang out with you for your last days. This is why you want me to visit you. Grandma... I will forever love you from the bottom of my heart.

Kean said that while crying. He waited 3 days and it is finally his grandmother's funeral. He is crying while the funeral is happening. Finally after hours, his grandmother is buried. Kean gave the flower and is sad.

Kean: I will miss you....Grandma...

Kean booked a flight again back to USA. Kean tries to forget what happened. But all of this mess he experienced...is just too many. He lost his mother, father and now his grandmother.

Kean came back to his house but something is odd. His dog, Hoppy didn't come to him. He checked all the parts of the house but still...he can't find him.

What happened?
