Courier Six had seen and fought pretty much everything the post-apocalypse had to throw at her. From giant mutants that can rip a person in half with a single strike, to seeing a bloody alien spaceship flying across the sky although the Courier liked to omit the fact she may or may not have been under the influence of alcohol at the time). Despite all the horrors she'd faced until now, despite being shot twice in the head and surviving, nothing could've prepared her on how to deal with a hyperactive kid that literally fell from the sky. And boy, is she a handful.

Six frowned at the child that stood before her that had (somehow) randomly sneaked up on her. Roughly five feet tall, black (or is it red?) hair with a peculiar hairstyle, but an even more extraordinarily stupid looking outfit. A single piece dress above knee level black dress with finishings in red, thin dark leggings and tall boots that looked more uncomfortable than useful. Yet, the most unnerving thing to Six was the fact this kid just wouldn't stop smiling ear to ear at Six.Of course Six didn't let her emotions be shown, the old riot helmet she wore prevented things such as her own emotions from being known to others.

A minute of pure silence went by as Six and this mystery girl stared at each other, the former sitting by a on a boulder just above a makeshift camp, with Maria aiming at the latter who was standing at about five feet from her. "Sooooooo...Who the hell are you?" Six asked, her voice being slightly more robotic sounding due to the helmet's voice filter.

"OH, HI! I'm Ruby and you look just sooooo coooool! YoumustbeareallystrongHuntressifyou-'' This...Ruby began to rant, much to the dismay of Six.

"Calm yer horses kid." Six spoke with a sigh, raising her free palm to get the kid to shut up and holstering her pistol, Maria, with the other.

"Sorry! Sorry! I just really like Huntsmen so seeing once up close is just so...AWESOME!" Six could see the kid's urge to jump at her which made her slightly uneasy.

The Courier cocked her head. "The fuck is a Huntsmen? Don't you mean hunter?"

Ruby's look of excitement was quickly replaced by one of pure confusion. "Uh no? Like Huntsmen?" She put more emphasis on the word this time. "As in the people that hunt and defeat the Grimm?" Six just stared at her. "...Those big black scary monsters that attack Humanity?"

Six stared at the kid for a solid couple of seconds before speaking once more. "Kid...Are you on drugs? Did someone make a type of psychomentats I'm not aware of?"

"What?! No! Wha-Why would you even ask that?! I'm thirteen! Why would I do drugs?!" To Six, Ruby seemed genuinely taken aback by the question.

Six shrugged before staring off to the endless wasteland. "I mean it's not that uncommon. One of the many tragedies of the Wasteland."

"The what?" Now it was Ruby's turn to ask seemingly dumb questions. To which the Courier responded with a flabbergasted look, even though Ruby couldn't see it.

"The Wasteland?" Ruby gave the woman a confused look "As in the giant stretch of death, sand and empty ruins you see before you?" Ruby tilted her head "The byproduct of the Great War that destroyed Earth? Ring any bells?"

Ruby's eyes went wide upon hearing those words, a sudden realization dawning on her. N-No, t-that can't be right. That's sci-fi movie stuff right? "H-Hum weird question" She let out a chuckle, trying to play off her state of near-panic, which Six caught on to. "What's the name of this planet?"

Courier six eyed the young teenager, the red lenses from her old customized riot gear helmet piercing her weird silver eyes. It was such a dumb question to ask, yet Six could see it was a genuine question. "Earth."
