After Shen finished getting his stuff ready, soothsayer looks at him and let's out a slight chuckle.
"Do you think it's silly?" The peacock ask with a slight anger and embarrassed sound. He was wearing something that literally covered his whole body, which is fine. But quite oversized.
The old goat reply with another chuckle
"No, it's just you're bringing all this stuff. Are you gonna be able to carry all of them? They're pretty heave for an injured peacock like you"
"I'm gonna be alright, nana."
The peacock then let's soothsayer leads them to the valley of peace, Shen is kind of nervous because he never really interacted with anyone except his nana which he almost saw everyday.
"Where do you want to take me, nana?"
He says that quietly, because he's quite the shy person and he trie not to look at the crowds. But soothsayer ignores him which makes Shen regrets opening his beak.
"Now do be careful, Shen. Some of the animals here... Don't like peacocks like you, so you shouldn't show any of your feathers. Do you understand?"
The peacock looks at her confused, but decides to not question her and just agree what she was saying
"Alright Nana, so does that mean-"
The old goat cuts his speech and nods her head
"Try roaming around this places, I'm going to somewhere else. Have fun, Shen."
The soothsayer walks away slowly leaving Shen behind, he was quite disappointed because she said that she's going to accompany him while in this valley but she doesn't, he doesn't really like questioning her and just obey what she's saying and roams around the places for a while until he doesn't know where to go and sits on a nearby bench.
"It sure is beautiful today..."
He whispered underneath his breath and started taking out a book and writes something because he kind of feel motivated, when suddenly... A Chinese goose looks at him with a smile.
"Hello there, mysterious man. Why so lonely in the day?"
Shen panics and close his books
"I- uhm... I don't know..." The peacock tries to think of something but doesn't know to say.
The goose looks at him and chuckles lightly
"Don't be so scared, I'm just a goose who sells the best noodles here. Do you want to try? By the way, I'm Mr Ping."
Shen looks at him awkwardly
"I... I don't know, I don't have the money... Uh...."
Mr. Ping looks at him with a smile and hands him a noodle soup
"Don't worry it's on the house, and you look starved to death so just try it. I'll leave you alone if you want to..."
Shen couldn't help but smile at hi kind gesture and nods
"Thanks so much, Mr. Ping..."
Shen then chugs the whole food down his throat, he's probably really hungry... But after him eating, he slowly goes to his shop an gives him the bowl and chopsticks Mr. Ping gave him to eat just a while ago.
