Kev's Wacky Gachaverse Misadventures!

2024 Valentine Special (NA Version)

It's that time again: Valentines. This year, Bazett took the role as the Valentine Servant, and it also mean that the new Servants that Kev summoned throughout 2023 also have their special Valentine moment with him soon. And what better Servant to take the spot once again than Barghest herself.

The Saber is currently in the kitchen, working on her Valentines' chocolate with Artoria Caster. Unlike last year however, she decided that her chocolate will be much smaller compared to the previous years.

"It's surprising for you to make it smaller this year, Baggie." She said.

"I don't want my love to discard his body after getting diabetes for the third time." Barghest replied, recalling the aftermath of both times Kev gotten the chocolates, in which he ditched his diabetic body and waited for a week to get a new one.

"Then again, he ate all of them, so it's not that surprising." Artoria said. She then glances over Barghest progress of the chocolate. "And it looks like you're improving so much since you first made the chocolate. You even added strawberry filling to it."

"Thank you for your compliment, Arcas." Barghest smiled in return. "Last year was cashews, and with Cat's teaching from that, I want to surprise him with something much sweeter."

The two continue their work, as time passes in a blink of an eye. It was then that Barghest's chocolate is ready, and is fully wrapped as well, complete with an insignia of a hound and a fox together.

"Good luck with giving the chocolate, Baggie!" Artoria cheered for the blonde, which Barghest gives a thumbs up in return, wishing her the same as well. As Barghest walked to find her husband, she spotted someone else walking with a gift: Tenochtitlan.

"Oh, Tlamacazqui's husband..." The Pretender said.

"Tenoch..." Barghest replied, glaring at her remembering what happened last year involving her.

"Relax, I'm not going to steal him this time." Tenoch then said. "I decided to keep it simple and give dear Tlamacazqui my Valentine chocolate."

"I see." Barghest replied, noting the box shaped gift that Tenoch is holding. "I do hope that you're not hiding any tricks here, otherwise..."

"I assure you that I'm not." Tenoch flatly stated. The two went on to find Kev, yet they couldn't find him anywhere. That is until they entered the command room, where Kev and the party is there, presumably returned from a quest.

"Another job well done, you two." He said to both Kukulkan and Light Koyan, as the two walked away after being praised. He then spotted both Barghest and Tenoch near the doorway. "Ah, Baggie! And also Tenoko."

The two Servants smiled seeing his refreshed look.

"Welcome back, my love. Happy Valentine's Day to you." Barghest said straightforwardly, catching Tenoch off-guard upon hearing it.

"Wait, no teasing or anything?" She said.

"Ah, it's that time already?!" Kev replied, clearly panicked about something. "Oh, man! I didn't prepare the return gift!"

"It's quite alright, sweetheart." Barghest then calmed him down. She then gives him her wrapped gift, being the box of chocolates she made earlier. "And I believe that this year's chocolate might surprise you."

"When it comes to your gifts, I'm always in for the surprise." Kev replied with the excited face. He then turn towards Tenoch with her gift. "How about you, Tenoko?"

Tenoch then shows her gift, that being a chocolate in a shape of a realistic heart, certainly taken an inspiration from a certain Assassin.

'Isn't that just Jack's chocolate?' Kev thought.

"I thought of offering you a heart would suffice, but I almost forgotten the entire concept around the Valentine gift being chocolate." Tenoch explained, making Kev shiver at the thought of the Pretended bringing an actual human heart instead. "And instead, I've made a chocolate heart for you, my dear Tlamacazqui~"

She ended with a wink to charm him. But instead of the expected infatuation, Kev simply sighed in relief, before smiling and patted her head.

"Thanks, Tenoko." He said. Despite the simple gesture, Tenoch flusters from the headpat. "Since it's Valentine's today and I've done my dailies, you guys can ask me for anything, whether it's a date or anything else."

Tenoch's eyes beamed up upon hearing his offer, since she wanted to have another city date with him. Barghest also have the same feeling, but she's instead thinking of a nice date at a park with him.

"In that case-"

"Why won't we go around and let your 'mommy' treat you with some sweets?~"

A sudden new voice caught everyone in surprise. The Servants' don't recognize who the voice belong to... except for Kev. He slowly turn around to see someone from another world smiling at him.

"e-EEEEEEEH?!"

And as of how she came to Chaldea... that's the story for another time. And of course, it involves the Dimension Crack.
