The Progression of a Crush In Terms of Greek Mythology
You become atlas, bearing the world you desire
the one spent together with them.
But when you keep getting rejected,
and you feel like Sisyphus
Rolling the boulder up the hill, time and time again,
only to see your hard work roll away.
Lastly though, you become tantilus
constantly reaching for what you desire most
yet cursed never to reach it.
