Chapter one
My name is josh motherson, i was a very happy person. key word was. I was 10 when it started i mean my life going down hill. the day she moved in to the house next to mine. the day I made a friend I figured out that my dad was beating my mom and sexually herassing mylittle sister i was ten what could i do. so i played along to the perfect happy family. even though every night I colapsed in bed and cried.
The day she moved in linda pattison. she was a small girl very skinny helping her dad carry in things to the rundown ruined house next to mine. my dad wanted me out of the house i was going to go to the river but i guess i could just help out. i walk up the drive way and interduced my self in a squeaky voice.
"hhhi im josh i lllivve nexxt dor." i said loud eenough for the little girls father to hear, He beamed down at me and stuck out his hand and said "hey there boy, thanks for coming over this is linda and the one on the steps is kimberly and my wife is inside alseep." he voice full of authority. linda looked up from a box and smiled then yelled at the girl at the stairs
"hey kimmy come say hi to our neiighbourr" she slured. she had the cutest lisp.
"well do you guys need a hand?" i said acting masculine and strong. the man laughed and said grab a box and i did so, i sw on the box it said babies as we were walking into the house. i asked linda qucketly did she have younger sibleings?
"shush youll wake them up and ill get in trrrouble" she said quietly and urgently.
i didnt dare speak anouther word till we got out side.
"So do you?" i asked again,
she sighed and put a box down, "yes, i have kimmy a lil brrrotherr and a new babby sisster. and i dont want friends cuz well be moving soon." she said stubbornly.
"Linda be nice to our neighbour." said her dad
"fine" she grumbled.
I noticed that her sister went missing the big one what was her name ughh ill figure it out later. itapped lindas shoulder and said "Weres your sister?"
"DAD KIMMY RAN AWAY AGAIN!!!" she screaned loudly then coverd her mouth like she was going to get in trouble.
"wahhhhhhhh wahhhhh wahhhh.... ughhhhh linda you woke up jamie lynn go find kim please her father said sticking his head out the door.
"Do you want help?" i asked linda while running after her.
"NO. i dont need help" she replied
"well i know the area you dont." i snarked back.
she nodded fine and we ran off trying to find her sister
