It's been 5 years since the incident happened. Rubie living with her mom and older sister. She comes downstairs after waking up smelling her favorite breakfast her mom had cooked. "Good morning rue how was your sleep?" her mother said as she fixes the plates. Rubie look at her mom concerned. "Well... I had a dream... about him again" she implied sighing. Her mom just sat there in silence not a single word came out until Amora came in the room. "Why is it so quiet and stiff in here?" Amora looked at both of them confused. Rubie looked her mom then looked at Amora. "He was in my dream..again" she looked at her worried. Amora paused for a moment "again? Isn't this the 5th time this week? You're barely getting sleep." Rubie grabbed her plate and sat down thinking about it worried that he will find her. "Yes and no... and I'm leaving with sapphire to go to work." She said changing the subject as her mom sighed and smiled. "Alright dear just focus on work it will take your mind off of it for a while." Sapphire appeared at the front door knocking like they've summoned her. "Speaking of the devil, look who's here" Amora said as she sat down in the living room watching the latest news. Her mom gets the door and welcome's sapphire in. "Welcome my love how's the family?" As she hugs her. "Their fine Ms.lorde mother said she misses you and wished they lived in the same state." As she hugs rubie's mom back and hugs Rubie as well. "I should call her after cleaning up a bit" rubie's mom chuckles. "Ready to go?" Sapphire takes a piece of bacon from Rubie's plate. She sighs "I have spare clothes at work let's just go" she eats the rest of her food and grabs her coat heading out the door. Sapphire nods and heads out the door waving good bye to rubie's mom and sister. They get in the car and starts driving off to where they worked at the bar. This was rubie's second week working so she already gotten use to the work environment. As soon as they got there and changed into their work clothes they begin their shift. Sapphire looked up as she seen a line of customers come in. "Hey girl can you take the other side while I take these people?" Rubie turns around and nods take half from her section. A tall man came in with guards as he walked in front of the customers already in line.

"One mojito sunrise" sapphire looked over and seen him. she was shocked and thought to herself "why's Mr. Romano here?" Rubie saw that he skipped the line full of people waiting so she ignored him and asked the customer behind him. "what can I get you this fine evening?" He didn't like how she ignored him and sapphire whispered "what are you doing that's the boss!!" Rubie crossed her arms "I don't care if he's the boss or not there was customers here before him he's here to get a drink right? Well im treating him like a customer whether he likes it or not." Her face had a serious tone and sized him up and down. Mr.Romano then said "do you know who I am? I'm the owner of this building." Rubie looked at him unphased "I don't care if you're the CEO of hoochie mamas. if you're coming to order like everyone else imma treat you like everyone else in here. You can go to the back of the line I see you as a customer and imma treat you like one. this person was here first." Sapphire told Rubie to stop testing him because she doesn't want her fired on her second week. He said in a calm stern voice "Ms. Lorde meet me in my office" as he walks there. Rubie continues to tend the customers ignoring and not doing what he said. "What are you doing do you wanna get fired?! This is only your second week I can't let you get fired you're the most fun I had since you started to work here." Sapphire said begging rubie to see the boss. "But he was so rude he thinks just cuz he owns the place he can just skip customers whenever he wants. I hate people like that." Rubie scuffles looking at sapphire in a fidgeting manner. "Please I don't wanna even imagine you not working with me. I hate having to work by myself with these bimbos coming here." she started to fake cry being dramatic hoping it would convince Rubie. "...fine only for you." Rubie sighs and walks to the boss's office. As she got there she spots him and stands having attitude arms crossed giving him the most meanest look. "Well what did you call me in here for?" Before he could say anything he took a quick glance at her "people like her needs to be put in her place" he thought to himself. "I didn't like the way you spoke to me like I can't fire you on the spot." He sat down in his chair. "You can sit no reason for you to be standing." He implied. "I don't feel like sitting and I don't care if you fired me. A customer is a customer if you're ordering imma treat you like a customer it's that simple." He got up from his chair and starts walking towards her. She starts backing up as ends up against the wall. With his hands in his pocket hovering over her looking down at her. "Bella don't start with me. Girls like you really get under my skin." She looks up at him "well good I hope I hit every single inch of your nerves and my name is not bella." He laughed taking one hand out his pocket holding her face. He leaned in and whispers in her ear "don't start something you can't finish mí Amor." Rubie felt hot when he whispered, she looked at him making eye contact. He started to lean in towards her face close to her neck but then stops himself and walks away. "don't let it happen again you're free to go." Rubie didn't know what to think she had so many questions on what was about to happen. She left and finished her shift with sapphire going home. "Mom.. Amora I'm ho-" before she could finish Amora cut her off. "Mom's sleeping... hey did you tell anyone where we lived?" Rubie was confused by the sudden question. "Not other than sapphire no why?" Amora looked concerned "you got a letter and I think ik who it's from..." Rubie grabbed the letter and read it "what do they mean watch your back?.." she started to worry and hoped it wasn't her who she thought it was. She shook it off and told Amora it was probably just a coincidence and went to bed. The next morning sapphire and Rubie went to the gym. "After this where having an all you can eat buffet your paying" sapphire said with motivation. "Whatever." Rubie said rolling her eyes until she notice her boss standing next to a couple of guys. He felt her staring turned around looking at her and proceeded to walk towards her. He couldn't help but look at her head to toe noticing how beautiful she looked without her work clothes on. "Well if you done staring may I ask why are you here?" A moment of silence was heard until he chuckled. "Why am I here at my own gym? Idk maybe because my younger brother is here training." She looks at him noticing his eyes are somewhere it's not supposed to be at. "My eyes are up here not my chest." She implied raising her eyebrow before he could say anything gunshots were heard 4 times. Everything thing was a blur Rubie couldn't see straight she didn't feel and sharp pain. She hears ringing she opens her eyes screaming, everyone freaking out and the sirens were heard.
