The night slowly faded into morning, Another day in the minimalistic life of yours. Loreen waltzed into your room as she does almost every morning, her face as bright as a glowing beacon. She held some type of wooden tray in those gorgeous, slim hands of hers. It was the tray your mother had given her as a little gift when they first met. You would always find it cute how your family and Loreen got along as if they've always known each other. On top of the tray, you could spot some golden cutlery, plates with appetizing food and two large glass cups. This was some sort of routine Loreen had. Almost every Friday she'd intend to do something nice for her love. It could be simple gestures such as getting you your favorite flowers or telling you extra words of affirmation. She was always like that. Nice and pure as a warm hugs. And speaking about hugs - Loreen's hugs would always be your favorite. How her strong, protective arms wrapped around you and invited you into something so safe. You snapped back to reality and out of analyzing the tray as Loreen sat down beside you. She nudged you with a little snicker that escaped her lips so lovingly.

"Rise and shine, my love. The clock is way past eight." She almost giggled under her breath.

You sat up in a very sleepy manner, looking like slow motion. Your hands rubbed your eyes so you could see clearly instead of your eye lens being all blurred. Then you saw her sitting beside you. Her sweet face and smile that showed her sharp whites. It made you feel a wave of happiness that washed over you. Especially over your heart. Her presence could reflect so many things such as the sun for her bright persona. But you would always describe her as a moon. Her deep emotion and calmness is something that reminded you of the moon. She was your universe. You noticed the tray again now, it was filled with tasty things for breakfast. It made you giggle. Loreen was a useless cook. One time, she nearly burnt down the kitchen for trying to cook spaghetti.

"You didn't make this, did you?" You made out a small giggle as you asked her in that morning voice of yours. Loreen seemed visibly embarrassed.

"Actually, no. I went to the bakery close by. I hope it's still good though." Loreen carefully admitted, a bit embarrassed that she couldn't make this by herself. You found it adorable.

"Don't worry, Lo. It's great, thank you." You used that nickname on her. The nickname you called her on your first date. You gently kissed her cheek as a way of saying thank you before you took a strawberry into your mouth.

The fruity flavor spread in your mouth while chewing and Loreen couldn't help but find you cute. She would admire you doing anything casual even if it was you getting a glass of water. You were like her sun. Bright and loving. Or, that's what she used to say at least. You were the perfect match. The moon and the sun, together in their own universe. It was a tender thought that made blush fall onto your cheeks the second it came to your head. Loreen leaned in and gave you sugary little pecks around your face an on your lips. Her hand was buried into your blonde hair, making you giggle at her affection. Her love language had a pattern of changing every five minutes. Sometimes she was extra touching and the other hour she'd be loving with the words on her tongue. Sometimes she'd even talk to you in French or Arabic. That was your weakness.

"Tu es belle, mon soleil. J'ai de la chance." She whispered with a cute grin in between giving you little pecks with those soft lips of hers. Her French accent made you smile like an idiot and she knew it.

You had no idea what she was saying, but it sure was something lovely. She was always lovely. You let out a sweet laughter before you closed the distance between you. Your lips met in a strawberry flavored kiss as the birds chirped outside in the morning light. You sat in your shared bedroom which was beautifully styled and decorated. Loreen had put some of her plants in there since the day you moved into the apartment together. It was like her children. Your apartment had that very clean but cozy vibe attached to it. You had warm lightning, all sorts of flowerpots, Loreen had sage a little everywhere in your bedroom and it was all minimalistic in a way that comforted you. Loreen's almost melodic voice spoke again.

"I've actually got plans for us today, so you better get up, sleepyhead." She teased with a rather amused chuckle. Her eyes had that sparkle that you admired so much.

Anything that spilled out of her mouth was like an instant wave of love. A full ocean. How could your love be so perfect? If somebody asked you, what's perfection to you?, you'd always answer: The person that makes me glow. That's exactly what Lo, or Loreen, did. She made you glow. It was always noticed during anything you did. During sleepless nights, endless drives and storytelling. You were in a constant glow because of her. She knew exactly how you worked and every little detail of you. It was quite odd though. You've only known and been in a relationship for a year. And still, Loreen would be able to name any detail about you if someone asked her. She knew you better than you knew yourself.

You got up from bed after finishing the delightful, not homemade, but very delicious breakfast. The wooden floor creaked as you strolled to the kitchen. There she sat again. Her dark waves of hair embracing her. The rich mahogany tones of her eyes were truly captivating. Especially in the sunlight. That nightgown made out of white silk really hugged her body in the most beautiful way. You made a smile before you started making coffee for the both of you. You, on the other hand, wouldn't describe yourself quite frankly as fabulous as Loreen. Your hair in some messy braid that went down to your chest along with a borrowed shirt from Loreen and a pair of shorts.  Casually comfortable, as you always were. The boiling noises of the coffee machine filled the room and the aroma of coffee beans surrounded the kitchen. A warm kind of morning. It was July after all. Your first anniversary. You suspected she had something special going on for this day.

"Come on, I can't sit here all alone now, can I?" She chuckled, gesturing with her hand for you to sit down with her.

You snapped out of your thoughts again, typical day dreamer. The chair scraped a bit to the floor as you carefully pulled it and sat down. Loreen had a different look to her eyes. Something was going on - in a good way. She cleared her throat before speaking to you.

"We're going on a little trip today. I think you're quite familiar with it." She smirked, a teasing glimt in her eyes as your hands suddenly drowned into hers. She caressed them with her thumb, a gentle gesture that could kill you.

You tilted your head, glowing again. "Hm? Where?"

"It's a surprise dumbass. You'll find out when we get there." Loreen tittered, then she spoke once again. "Here's a hint. Phone."

You had no idea what she was talking about. Phone? Loreen seemed amused by your clueless expression. It was so obvious yet so sly to understand. She was obviously talking about that picture in your phone case of her at that spot. Your spot. That's where you had your first date. On  some cliffs by the west coast. Loreen couldn't help but to laugh a bit at how you couldn't find it out. She was obviously the frankly intelligent one of you two.

"Be ready in an hour or so, mhm? And you might want to bring the camera." She pointed with her eyes towards your little camera from 2009. It was your favorite item, which she of course knew.

An hour or even later, everything was set and done. You had put the camera, your phone and a book in your every-day tote. Loreen had spilled that it would be a long trip, still you couldn't figure out where the hell you were going. She kissed you right before you two stepped out the door. Her glossed plumped lips against yours - fireworks.

"Limadha 'ant jamil jida?" Her Arabic voice unfurled with that accent of hers. My god, what a woman.

You made your way out and the sun sparkled onto her sun kissed skin and magical hair. She almost looked like some kind of childhood creature. A fairy perhaps. Trees swayed along with the wholesome, very hot and relaxing July wind. Some little boys played on the sidewalk. You couldn't help but to smile. The world isn't that ugly when you actually look at it. Earth is a wholesome place. There were few moments like this. Moments when everything just went quiet. You continued to walk on the parking lot after her, like a little dog in a way. Loreen opened the car door, with a little grin.

"For the sweetheart."

You giggled and rolled your eyes a bit. She was so adorable but also so funny in a way. Your laugh was some sort of way to hide the fact that you enjoyed all her praise and compliments.
