England is so boring. Nothing interesting ever happens here. The people are weird, the weather is terrible, and to top it all off, I'm in college studying for my A Levels. The day goes by like it usually does, wasted in school. Luckily, I have a free period last and decide to go home. I've had enough of today. One of my friends is also leaving for last period, so we decide to walk to the gate together.
"I swear to god, science will be the end of me. Like how on earth am I supposed to remember what the Nodes Of Ranvier and Myelin Sheath do inside a synapse?" I say to my mate who's walking beside me.
"Hey, you're the one who chose the subject, so you gotta deal with it. Besides, just do constant revision and you're sorted. Don't forget about our Criminology exam this Friday." He says.
"Shit, I totally forgot about that. I'll revise tonight. Catch you later." The two of us split off once we've walked out the gate. I decide to take a scenery walk, through a nature trail of large trees and wild flowers. Exams and deadlines have been stressing me out, so this walk is very much deserved and needed. Everything around me seems so peaceful. You can hardly hear the cars, and everything smells fresh. The sunlight beams shine through gaps of leaves due to the trees being in full blossom. Perfect. That was the only way to describe how everything was right now. Absolutely and utterly...
*CRASH*
Not so perfect anymore. The quiet was disturbed. It would be a crime if I hadn't gone to see what caused the rude disturbance of my peaceful walk. The closer I get to the sound, the more curious I become. And then I see them. A man wearing a very patriotic USA outfit with a shield. He was tall and very muscular, I however couldn't make out his face though as he was wearing a mask. Another in a red iron suit, not as tall as Mr USA but also with a mask on. And one final man, tall and slim, wearing a red cape which was... moving?
"What the..." I step back and step on a twig, just my luck.
The men turn and notice me staring. What on earth do I do now. Stand there awkwardly? Pretend to be blind perhaps? I mean, I'm in a quiet nature trail alone with three random men, I should definitely run.
"Hey kiddo, you doi- " the man in the iron suit begins to speak before he is cut off by another very curious sound.
*WOOSH* *THUD*
Great, more random people.
"Harry are you ok?"
"Yeah, you?"
"Where are we?"
About five more people stand up, but they look like me. Just normal average humans, carrying... carved wooden sticks?
"And who might you be?" The one in the red cloak asks, which is still moving by the way. Like how??? Where is the wind bro??
"I am Professor Dumbledore. Headmaster as Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." An old man with a veryyy long beard speaks. But school of what? Witchcraft and wizardry? Are they a cult school? Or a school for kids to learn pretend magic? Who knows, maybe impress Simon Cowell and win Britain's Got Talent.
A long conversation between the two groups form and I stay still and quiet. I try listen in, but they're mostly just arguing with each other, so I observe them instead. The first three men, the three blind mice, that's what I'll call them. Mouse one, his mask finally came off, but his shield was still firm in his hand. His face, it was gorgeous. His hair was messy and so was his beard, and I could see a few scars on his cheeks. He seemed very built, does he ever skip gym day? His voice was amazing, strict and firm, but in a calming way. He spoke with manner, and well respect, like he could be a leader.
Mouse two, his mask also came off. My god it was not what I expected. This man knew what beard style suited him and it was perfect. I don't know what I expected in all honesty, probably some old guy with long greasy hair and wrinkles. This man was the opposite, attractive even. He too also had a few scars on his face. A recent one I could tell was a small bump on his forehead which was bleeding. His speech was filthy. An occasional swear here and there, and very sarcastic replies. I'm pretty sure that was his entire personality.
