SS1:
A.D. 2307, the fossil fuels on Earth have all been exhausted, and the distribution of energy is unbalanced. Humanity now relies on three large-scale solar power systems controlled by three multinational power blocs: the Union of Solar Energy and Free Nations (Union) led by the United States and its allies (including Japan); the Human Reform League (HRL) made of the Russian Federation, People's Republic of China and the Republic of India; and the Advanced European Union (AEU). With this nearly inexhaustible source of energy benefiting only these three powers and their allies, constant warfare erupted around the globe among minor countries for precious fuels and energy, named the "Energy Wars". Even in the 24th Century, humanity hasn't overcome its greedy nature.
In the heat of the global-scaled "Energy Wars", the "Sirens", an alien species, invaded the Earth. Their overwhelming technology pushed the humans out of the seas even though the "Mobile Suit" and "Mobile Armor" technologies of the three power blocs were considered "the strongest" among human civilization.
A.D. 2308, with the lingering threat of Sirens, the three power blocs decided to put aside their differences in ideology and policies to once again found the international organization "United Nations". The "Corner Family" led by Alejandro Corner donated a huge amount of money and technology to the UN Peacekeeping Forces, including the "Solar Reactors - The GN [T] Drive", slowly but surely, humans have finally found a chance to combat the might of the Sirens.
SS2:
A.D. 2312, five years after the global-scale Energy Wars and the invasion of the alien species of Sirens, humanity has united as one, the United Nations has now become the "Earth Sphere Federation". The ESF Forces found a giant spaceship which they dubbed "The Noah's Ark in Space", powered by five original Solar Reactors, The GN Drive, (a semi-perpetual generator, scaled for installation in a mobile suit, which harnesses the byproducts of baryonic decay as an energy source. Like every other power source, a GN Drive has a limited moment-by-moment output; however, due to its very nature, a GN Drive will continue to supply power for a theoretically infinite period of time, so long as the GN drive is not pushed to breaking limits.) and intended to be the final stand of humanity in case of a global-scale extinction, but it was overrun and transformed into a space fortress and a weapons factory for the Sirens and by the Sirens. The humans also created the Kansen, or shipgirls, to fight the Sirens on the sea, unknown to them, the Shipgirls were the first Innovades.
At the same time, at the Space Mining Colony named "Proud", the Sirens launched a surprise attack as they introduced a new type of weapon, the Automatons.
The ESF Forces launched an all-out assault on Noah's Ark, but to no avail due to the power difference. But they found something interesting during an expedition to the further parts of the Solar System, a wrecked spacecraft. They boarded it and found a working terminal, Purple Haro.
From there, the ESF manufactured their first five true GN Drives since the unknown launch of Noah's Ark, four Mobile Suits were created using the GN Drives as power sources:
00 was the first mobile suit to use two GN Drives as a power source, this system was dubbed as "Twin Drive". With the power of the four Gundams, humanity finally gained control of the space fortress, restoring its purpose as the final stand of Humanity, ending the first contact with the Extraterrestrial Lifeform with a peace treaty.
Movie/One-shot: "A Wakening of the Trailblazer"
The movie starts with the scene of an unknown island, a man sits on a chair, recording a message: "What I hate are people who misuse their intelligence-the ones who get caught up on their own personal beliefs and prejudices, and lose sight of the truth.It leads to misunderstandings, followed by discord and then by conflict. All I want is understanding between people.Humans must learn to apply their intelligence correctly, and evolve beyond their current state.People must change. Otherwise, even if humanity expands into space, it will only create new conflicts. And that will be a very sad thing."
A.D. 2314, two years after the bloody "Siren War", humanity is once again at peace, they reverse-engineered many leftover techs from the Sirens and manufactured their first automatons, unknown to them, the Sirens are plotting something sinister. Then, a whole space fleet consisting of over 50 heavy carriers and 75 flagships and a mothership suddenly arrived at Jupiter, the Sirens once again want to take over Earth and annihilate all humans. ESF Forces set up a defense lines, ranging from the Moon to Mars, engaging the Sirens head-on. During the heat of the battle, three mobile suits suddenly appeared, changing the tides of the battle.
00 Quanta, Zabanya Gundam, Harute Gundam.
00 Quanta pierced through the enemy mothership, and through Quantum Brainwaves communication, they realized the Sirens' Home planet was destroyed during a Supernova and they went nomad, seeking for a new home. The War ended with 00 Quanta creating a portal to the remains of their old Solar System. 50 years later, the human's first flagship built using both Humans and Sirens' Technology, the ESF Enterprise, for Deep Space Exploration with her sister ship, ESF Yorktown, the ending scene appears with a small text: "Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding." and the credits roll up.
