Linus was spending one fine Monday afternoon after school, rollerblading across the neighbourhood. He'd learned how to rollerblade well before he met Mimi. As Linus rollerbladed towards the psychiatry booth, there, sitting down, was Lucy. Linus slipped on an oil slick, and then, he crashed into the booth, sending Lucy flying out of her chair.

"Hey! Why don't you watch where you're going, Little Brother?!" demanded Lucy.

"Oh. Sorry. I guess I lost control of my rollerblades." Said Linus.

"Well, be more careful in the future, won't you, Little Brother?" said Lucy.

Janice walked past Lucy's booth, knowing she was taking the booth on weekdays.

"Good grief. Linus is in trouble with his sister." Janice said to herself.

Janice made the decision to go over to Heather's psychiatry booth, since she had the ideal question to ask about an upcoming event.

"Hopefully Heather has the right thing in mind. After all, she's a better psychiatrist than Lucy will ever be."

As Janice arrived at the psychiatry booth, much to her surprise was...

"Charlie Brown?!"

"Hi, Janice." Said Charlie Brown.

"I'm surprised to see you here. But.... where's Heather?" asked Janice.

"She's gone out to buy something for Linus' birthday." Charlie Brown explained.

"Linus' birthday? That's exactly what I came in for." Janice said.

"So what is it you would like to do, Janice?" asked Charlie Brown.

"I would like to do something for Linus' birthday." Said Janice.

"Oh, good grief!" sighed Charlie Brown.

Charlie Brown sighed, remembering his past experiences, having his own trouble deciding on what to get for Heather's birthday.

"So, Charlie Brown. What can I do for Linus' birthday?" Janice asked again.

"Think of the things Linus likes to do, Janice." Said Charlie Brown. "Do you remember what Linus did for your birthday?"

"Well, he did take me on.... A date. He even carried me as if we were newlyweds." Janice remembered.

"Good. Good."

Then Charlie Brown thought.

"I could try doing that with the Little Red-Haired Girl when her next birthday comes."

"And he threw me a special birthday gala." Janice finished.

"I got it, Janice." Said Charlie Brown. "Try a different sort of special for Linus' birthday."

"Well, thanks for the advice, Charlie Brown." Janice said as she tossed 3 cents into the tin and walked off to make her plan.

"Well, I won't be taking these 3 cents for myself. Leave them here for the Little Red-Haired Girl once she returns." Charlie Brown decided.

So Janice walked off, thinking of what to do for Linus' birthday. She could well remember what Linus did for her for her birthday.

"I know! I'll write him a birthday card."

While Janice went to do that, Linus went home to write some invitations to his birthday party.

"There is no doubt Janice will refuse an offer to go to my party." Said Linus. "And since Mimi lives in the neighbourhood now, she's bound to stay at my party."
