Episode 7 - Don't Look Back

Daurine immediately woke up Jenny and Mike to inform them, "Guys, Archie, Spike and Crusher are already gone!" She exclaimed. Mike was still sleepy he was rubbing his eyes, "Fuck, I thought they may have came around with staying with us" he grunted.
"Guess it's just the three of us now" Spoke Jenny. "Yeah sure does look like that sis" Responded Daurine sarcastically. Jenny rolled her eyes. "We gotta get out of here" Spoke Daurine, "Yeah, hopefully those idiots realise they made the wrong decision" replied Mike, "Maybe you'll get to see my fighting skills now?" Teased Daurine. Mike smirked, "They better be impressive, I've waited long enough". Jenny rolled her eyes, "Come on you two star crossed lovers lets get the fuck out of here", they all grabbed their weapons and exited through the door that led onto the ground outdoors, which of course was littered with zombies and without hesitation they began taking many of them out so they could make their way to the exit. Blood spurted all over them as they each dug their knives into the skulls of the zombies. Mike was in awe of Daurines fighting skilled, he stared at her and Daurine looked back and smirked. "Daurine watch it!" Yelled Jenny, a zombie was right behind Daurine, Jenny swiftly managed to take it out, "Jesus there's plenty of time for you both to stare at each other once we escape" She sternly Spoke. There was no time for the two of them to respond as they had quickly snapped back into fighting. There wasn't long for them to go now before they would reach the side gate which they'll escape through.

Up on the rooftop, Dan's group were all awake and ready to go, Ethel spotted 3 people on the ground taking zombies out "Guys! Check this out!" She yelled. Everyone rushed over to look. "Oh my god, its Jenny, Daurine and Mike" Responded Colin "Archie isn't with them? Maybe he didn't make it?" Wondered Dan "Fucking hope he didn't" Muttered Charlie "Well at least that means we won't have as many to take out now once we're escaping" Said Fluff, "Well yeah on the ground, but who knows what it's like inside" Added Stinkapoo "Shit yeah good point" returned Fluff. The group were almost ready to leave, they had gathered all their belongings together and all got into a huddle to discuss the plan, "Right we've all got our weapons, I'll lead us out, we'll head down the stairs, take out any monster we see, then go outside and thanks to those Mike, Jenny and Daurine we won't have as many to take out there, and then we're free to get outta here finally" Announced Dan. Everyone seemed to be content with the plan, although rather nervous of course. "If anything happens out there... I love you guys" Said Kate softly, everyone teared up at that. "No no come on don't speak like that, we're all in this together, okay? Just stay by me" responded Audgrey to reassure her, "Yeah yeah I know but anything can happen out there" Returned Kate. "Uhh Dan, is there anything you'd like to confess before we risk our lives?" Asked Charlie mockingly in an attempt for Dan to confess his feelings for Lily. Dan went bright red, he knew what Charlie was doing, everybody looked at Dan. "Haha noo of course not" Chuckled Dan whilst looking back at Charlie and mouthing "Fuck you" to him, Charlie smirked. Trying to clear the awkwardness, Dan spoke up "Right let's do this guys" and he opened the door to the stairs so they could all exit and make they're way out of the building, Lily followed behind and then Charlie, then the two couples holding hands and then Fluff, Rubin, Kate and Audgrey. They all clenched their weapons in hand. The moment finally arrived. The moment they would finally escape.

Amidst everything that was going on, Ben and his group were still remained in the hall storeroom. They were all still unsure whether to make a move or not as the moaning of zombies could still be heard from the hall. At this point they hadn't eaten for days, they were practically starving. "Is this really how it ends for us? We're gonna starve to death in here" Groaned Skippy "Well what can we do? We're stuck in here with countless of those things in the hall" Responded Jack. "God knows how we managed to get some sleep in here" muttered Cyril, Meanwhile Alexander was studying the lunchtables which were stored in the room they were in and having a deep thought, "Hey whatcha thinking mate?" Asked Ben. Alexander's eyes glowed, he had an epiphany. "Guys! Listen up, I got it, this is how we get out, this is it" Announced Alexander. Everyone focused on Alexander as he began to talk, "I can't believe we didn't think of this sooner, we can use these lunchtables as a shield as we're getting out of here, we bring 4 together, making a square shape, and we push our way out of here whilst we have the tables to protect us" explained Alexander. Everyone seemed to be impressed with his thinking, "That's brilliant pal, that could actually work" Responded Henry with delight. Alexander smiled proudly. It was decided Alexander, Ben, Jack and Skippy would take a table each to hold. The lunchtables are stored upright so they would make a good shield and can easily be moved because of the wheels it has. So Alexander, Ben, Jack and Skippy each got a table. "But the question is, who's gonna go out first?" Asked Skippy. None of the boys were too keen on being first but then Alexander spoke up. "Well, seeing as it was my idea, I should I take responsibility, I'll make sure we get out" Explained Alexander. The boys looked at him in shock "Are you sure mate?" Asked Cyril, "Yeah I'll be fine, we got this" Responded Alexander "Me and Cyril can use our weapons too to fight any zombies off if they try and get into our shield" Added Henry. "Good thinking" Said Jack, "Just think guys, we get out of the hall and we don't have far to go before we're out the school as a whole" Spoke Ben, "Yeah, I just hope Dan and Charlie and everyone else is alright, we haven't seen them since this all started" Responded Jack, "Tell you what, we'll get out of here and we'll reunite with our friends and we'll have a nice meal, and most importantly, do it for the ones we've lost!" Yelled Alexander. Everyone else screamed "Yeah!" In motivation. "Good luck boys" concluded Henry. At that, Alexander opened the door, with the moaning noise from the zombies to drastically increase. Ben, Jack and Skippy followed ready to bring the tables together, Henry and Cyril got in the middle. The zombies instantly spotted them
"QUICK! FORM THE SHIELD!" Bellowed Alexander. Ben, Jack and Skippy, moved as quick as possible to make the shield, it was done just in time as zombies began instantly banging on the tables, Ben made a crack by moving his table slightly so Cyril could take a few of them out. "OKAY! NOW WE ALL GOTTA MOVE CAREFULLY IN THIS FORMATION" Ordered Alexander. It was like as if he was in the army, giving orders to his troops, he was really taking the lead here, which is unlike him, usually Alexander was quiet and kept himself to himself. Without hesitation all the boys began moving their shield slowly and carefully to try not let any zombies cut through. "Fucking hell there's so many of them!" Yelled Skippy. "Arrrggggh fuck we gotta keep pushing" strained Jack. The growling of the zombies filled the whole hall, the boys kept pushing, and them fighting all off with all their might "KEEP GOING!" Yelled Alexander. But now its got to a point where the shield is completely surrounded by zombies so it was practically impossible to move, "Oh fuck oh fuck, now what?! We're stuck!" Yelled Jack. Henry and Cyril were taking the ones they could out but it was an extremely difficult task being contained. "Fuckk I can't hold this for much longer" Groaned Skippy, "KEEP HOLDING ONN ARGHHH!" Screamed Alexander. They were all getting more and more exhausted. Too many zombies had surrounded them so they couldn't move at all now. "This is it then, this is where it ends"Cried Cyril. Alexander then spoke up, "There's gotta be something we can d- ARRRGGGGH!" Everyone shot their eyes at Alexander. His hand was sticking out from the tables, he just got bit. Henry acted fast and bashed the zombies head in and Alexander managed to pull his hand out its mouth, he looked at his and blood was squirting out, it was a deep bite. Everyone stood still and looked with tears beginning to form in their eyes, except Alexander. He looked up at all his friends and took a deep breath, "Well, I did say I was gonna take responsibility" and he moved the table and went out in the open, the 5 other boys were going ballistic trying to get him to come back, "NOO ALEXANDER COME BACK!" Yelled Henry. It was too late, Alexander was luring all the zombies to him so his friends were able to escape, a countless number was heading straight towards him "FUCKING COME GET ME THEN ARGGHHHH" Screamed Alexander at the top of his lungs, he got grabbed by one which took a bite out of his shoulder, whilst his friends watched in terror, "B-boys don't look back, get the fuck... o-outta here" he spluttered. He could barely talk he was getting completely devoured by numerous monsters. "Fucking hell we need to go now!" Demanded Ben. Due to all the zombies feasting on Alexander, the rest of the guys completely ditched the tables and made a run for the door to get out. They ran for it and they all took one last look at Alexander who was lifeless at this point. Ben barged open the door and everyone followed, they ran and ran taking out zombies, they were all filled with despair at what just happened to their dear friend, but they just kept running and didn't look back just like Alexander told them. Before they knew it they were out of the school, they ran across the road and onto the huge field opposite the school. The 5 all came to stop to catch their breath and took one last look at their school. "We'll never forget you... Alexander." Spoke Jack. The 5 boys were free now, it couldn't of been done without Alexander. "I swear, we'll find the rest of them, Dan, Charlie, Lily, Colin, all of the others" Cried Cyril "Yeah we will, no matter what, but for now we need to get the fuck to somewhere safe and get some food" Responded Ben. The others seemed to agree, so at that the 5 began their trek along the field, in hope to avenge their lost friends and beat this cruel new world...
