I come back from the office to a small bouquet of orange tulips on my desk. I smile, fondly remembering our treehouse's orange tulips from my childhood.

I smile remembering the orange tulip Matsuho gave to me as a peace treaty when we first met. He had moved in that week, and had decided to run out of the house and 'conquer/explore the terrain'. He ended up stumbling into our property and had decided to take one of my gnome statues that was on the lawn. We had argued for ten minutes, before my mom rushed outside, and we went to find his mom, who we found after maybe twenty minutes. The moms hit it off and we ended up having them over for dinner that night. He came over, dressed a little nicer, and held out an orange tulip.

"Forgive me?"

I nodded quickly, and we shook on it. The rest was history.

I'm brought back to reality in a matter of seconds. I fondle the tulips petals. Soft flesh meets my skin, and the colors seem to ripple and shimmer with the touch. I let go, and look for a vase. I wander off into the kitchen and spot my favorite vase. Matsuho got it for New Years last year. The pristine blue has a soft glow to it, and the small pearl inlays add a beautiful texture and elegant feel with the small shards. Quickly, I gather some water to place in it as well as some gardening scissors. I snip off the ends of the stalks to allow more growth, and gently place the tulips in water. As I place the tulips in the water, and adjust the position, my phone starts ringing. Seventeen's 박수 baksu chorus rings clear, and I briskly make my way to the phone. My vision begins to fade slowly, and colors dance around. The floor suddenly feels closer to my eyes, and vision leaves me.
