"Oi... Oi- Oi- Oi!" The blond haired girl turned to me and yelled, I merely gazed at her emeral orbs tiredly, this all honestly didn't feel real.

"You can't just leave me here with this thing!" She shouted desperatelyy

I turned my head up at her, my vision blurry, blood was running down my face. I couldn't feel majority of my body, I guess this was the end for me huh?

I gazed at the shadow of the creature I summoned. The blood of the girl dripped down its legs and slwoly pooled below it and mixed with the crushed concrete, the smell was horrendous.

If I could laugh, I probably would be giggling hysterically right now.

I wanted to feel bad for her, but fortunately the footsteps of that monster drowned out the girl's screams.

"To think... The USJ trip turned out like this." I managed to mumble.

The morning dawned bright but unseasonably cold. I rose from bed, washed up, and donned my school uniform before heading to the kitchen. Grandma already had a hearty breakfast of tamagoyaki and grilled fish laying out.

"Eat up, Shiro," she encouraged while pouring tea. "You'll need plenty of fuel for training today."

I nodded, settling down to eat. The savoury flavours and gentle clinking of chopsticks filled a comfortable silence between us. Once finished, I gathered my bag and headed for the train station.

Frost glittered along the sidewalks, prompting me to bundle my jacket tighter. My breath trailed in white puffs that faded amongst the milling pedestrians. At last I reached UA's formidable gates and strode towards homeroom, mentally reviewing our lessons for today.

"Morning, Shi-chan!" a cheerful voice called out. I turned to see Midoriya waving, signature freckled smile brightening his face. Behind him trailed Iida performing exaggerated arm chops while Uraraka floated several notebooks, giggling at the bizarre sight.

I blinked slowly, equal parts bemused and concerned by their antics. "Good morning, Hero." I finally managed. Before I could inquire further, Aizawa entered looking more dishevelled than usual.

"Today's training will be a little different," he announced without preamble. "You'll have three instructors - myself, All Might, and another faculty member keeping tabs on you."

Excited murmurs rippled through class. Sero raised his hand, tape-dispensing elbow jutting up. "Sir! What kind of training is this?"

Aizawa held up a card reading 'Rescue' in bold lettering. "You'll be dealing with natural disasters, shipwrecks, stuff like that."

"Huh, rescue training?" Kirishima grinned, exposing sharp teeth. "Real hero stuff! This'll separate the men from the boys!"

Beside him, Kaminari laughed brightly. "Yeah man! Saving hot babes from disasters sounds awesome!" He yelped when Jiro abruptly smacked him upside the head.

"You're an idiot as always, Sparky," she sighed.

Aizawa cleared his throat pointedly before more squabbling could erupt. "Now then, costume choices are up to your discretion today. Just keep in mind you haven't fully adjusted to them yet, so certain gear could hinder you." He eyed our excited faces seriously. "We'll be taking a bus to the off-campus facility. Start preparing to leave."

As everyone scrambled up chatting eagerly, I carefully considered my equipment options. My hero costume didn't offer much direct combat capability, but perhaps some supplementary tools from Support could prove useful. I decided to speak with Power Loader about specialized equipment after training concluded today.
