At a large high school building, in an Algebra 2 class, a girl was feeling faint as she was on her period and almost fell when Destry grabbed her before she fell.
"Are you alright". He said concerned as he helped her stand upright.
The girl looked up at him as she eyed his worn out black T-shirt, and jeans and felt weird as she noticed his chubby build.
"Um yeah I'm alright". She said before she quickly picked up her things before she went away...
Destry looked at her as she went away and scratched his head as he went to take his seat as the teacher came in. A few minutes later as the teacher was discussing the lesson, Destry was doing his work as he was thinking to himself.
"I should find another job since I got fired from my last one, and maybe I should buy a little food for myself since mother probably only has wine". He thought to himself as he had a habit of changing the subject.
A few hours later when it was lunchtime Destry was eating some stale bread he got on sale when he noticed, a girl was hiding her behind as there was a red spot on her skirt.
"Is she on her period ". Destry thought to himself as he went in his bag and pulled out some pads before he got up and approached the girl.
"Excuse me but do you need a pad". Destry said politely as he handed her a pad.
The girl looked at him and snatched the pad from him as she huffed.
"Pervert, you were looking at my skirt weren't you". She said, too embarrassed and proud to say thank you.
Destry was shocked and surprised as he was backed away.
"Um, uh, sor-sorry ". He said shyly as he was anxious and not sure what he did wrong.
"Well get away you creep and leave me alone before I tell the teacher". The girl said annoyed as she walked away to the bathroom.
Destry was a little confused as he looked at her as she disappeared in the women's restroom before he went away to the rest of his classes.
Several hours later, School was done for the day and Destry headed home. When he got home, he opened the door just as he heard heavy breathing and he's mother's voice as she was probably sleeping with another fling, before he headed to his room with barely anything as he sat on his bed and laid down.
"I'll find some food tomorrow". Destry said softly to himself as his stomach grumbled before he fell asleep ".
