The sound of raindrops hitting the concrete broke the silence of this devistating night. I didn't feel the water strike my arms, my face, my whole body.
I didn't feel anything.
But at the same time, I felt so much. Too much.
I wasn't supposed to feel anything. I wasn't programmed to have emotions or feelings.
I was a robot, a machine. Nothing more, nothing less.
Just a few weeks ago, noone would have believed, that a robot could actually develop emotions.
But here I was, kneeing next to the lifeless body of the one person, that caused my development of emotions, that showed me, how to be happy, how to be sad or angry, how to hate....and how to love.
The person, that made me feel human.
If I had the ability to cry, I would cry my eyes out, but after everything, I was still a machine.
I just sat there. What else was i supposed to do? It was to late. I had fucked up. I failed to save the one person, that had mattered to me.
I wanted to scream, to tear down this unfair world, but I didn't do anything. I didn't move an inch.
This night, I had learned a new emotion.
Numbness.

I really like this concept and I'll try to make a proper story out of this at some point, but it'll probably take some time as this is the only part I have written so far.
I hope you like it!
