"And that, my friends, is the story of Frankenbeagle.... I mean Beagle-Stein." Charlie Brown finished.

"Wow! Chuck is even a slyer dog than I thought!" said Peppermint Patty. "And I even built a sly dog!"

"That was only a story, Sir." Explained Marcie.

"Ahem?"

"I mean.... Pin Sir." Marcie sighed.

"That's better." Smiled Peppermint Patty.

"Well, that's all the stories we have time for this Halloween. Next year, we'll vote on who hosts the big Halloween party next year." Violet said.

"Me?" asked Charlie Brown.

"Only time will tell, Charlie Brown." Said Patty Swanson.

"Anyway, let's dance!" Violet decided.

"Yay!"

Sometime afterward, everyone was exhausted.

"Well, that was a fun Halloween." Said Janice.

"Too bad the Great Pumpkin didn't show up this year." Said Linus.

"Well, goodbye, Linus. And thanks for inviting me again." Janice said as she planted a kiss on Linus' left cheek before leaving for home, and Linus blushed even redder than his usual shirt.

"Come on, Charlie Brown. Let's walk home together." Heather said.

"Yes.... Heather." Charlie Brown said.

Charlie Brown started to blush bright red, going with Heather. Heather looked at Charlie Brown and noticed that the shade of red he was blushing was the same shade as her strawberry costume.

"Say, Charlie Brown. That shade of red reminds me of my costume." Said Heather.

"Really?"

"Well, it's too bad we couldn't go trick or treating this year." Said Heather.

"Well, the best thing about it is that I didn't have to get any rocks." Said Charlie Brown.

"Not to worry, Charlie Brown. When we get home, I have a special treat for you."

"What is it?"

"Wait and see." Heather winked.

Soon, Charlie Brown and Heather had reached their homes.

"I'll be over with the treat." Heather said.

"Alright! Thank you!"

So Charlie Brown went inside, still in his peanut costume, and sat in his beanbag next to Sally's. And as Charlie Brown turned the TV on, Heather came in, and she brought.....

"Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!" Charlie Brown exclaimed.

"As I said earlier, peanut butter and jelly go together just like you and me." Heather said as she nuzzled Charlie Brown with her nose, and Charlie Brown, feeling the gentle nose touch, blushed.

"He he! Happy Halloween, Charlie Brown!"
