I looked up as Steve walked off, helping that son of bitch who killed my parents. His sheild laid idle beside me.

That was it. We were done. The avengers were done.

I laid there for what seemed like forever, I was tired, hurt both emotionally and physically.

"Shit." I muttered as I slowly pushed myself up, every movement a reminder of the bruises and wounds that adorned my body. The Iron Man suit, battered and scorched from the intense battle, clung to me as a testament to the cost of this internal strife.

I took a deep breath, trying to steady my emotions. The suit's heads-up display flickered with warnings and damage reports, but I ignored them for a moment. The pain inside me was a deep, gnawing ache that no armor could protect me from. "FRIDAY," I called out to the AI, my voice strained. "Give me a status report." The robotic voice responded, detailing the damages to the Iron Man suit and analyzing the data collected during the battle. It was a mechanical litany, one I didn't want to hear about, yet, I needed to stay on top. I stumbled down the stairs to the ground floor of the old Hydra base, my jets broken and unable to allow me to fly.

Damn it Rogers. Why couldn't you have just signed it? I thought bitterly. The team had been my family, and now it was shattered. Vision's departure, Natasha's conflicting loyalties, and now Steve's choice—all of it weighed heavily on my shoulders. I skipped the finale step finally reaching the ground floor, not excited for the biting cold to consume me once I open the doors. I walked passed all the time capsule pods not wanting to look at them in the eye. Seeing the bullet hole, killing off innocent soldiers who didn't ask for it.

I reached the end of the hall, my breath visible in the frigid air as I prepared to push open the heavy doors. But something caught my eye. Amidst the rows of capsules, one seemed different. The frost on the glass obscured the view, but there was a subtle glow emanating from the side bar, a red light.

I hesitated for a moment, my gaze fixated on the unusual glow. The red light was pulsating rhythmically, creating an eerie contrast to the frozen surroundings. The other capsules remained dormant, their occupants dead.

Curiosity mingled with the turmoil inside me. I approached the glowing capsule cautiously, my gloved hand reaching out to wipe away the frost. As the glass cleared, I was met with a sight that sent a jolt through my weary body.

A woman– breathing. Her bright blonde hair with dark brown streaks cascading around here, "FRIDAY, charge my left hand with an electric current, now." I ordered as I ripped the capsule lid open, using my right arm I carried her, laying her gently down the floor. FRIDAY confirmed the electric charge and I placed my left hand over her heart, "Charge." I mumbled before initiating the small charge, I paused, looking down, "FRIDAY up the voltage." I commanded, my voice firm as I continued to administer the electric charge.
