Rei felt no pain, she didn't feel anything as she felt her entire body go numb

Harawa Rei, I want to accept you as my soul mate. I wish to love, protect and guide you through life from here on forth. I never once rejected you, I never wanted things to get this bad.

Rei looked around her to find the source of the voice "M-Masato?? B-But how...Why?"

You may not like that I'll be telling you this but I had gone to your apartment. I saw what you wrote on your birthday and every day previous to it. I know about the pain you hide from everyone. I don't wish for you to hide it from me anymore. I wish to get to know you so I can love and admire you just as much as I know you do for me.

Rei held her head as she shook it. "No! No! No! You're not supposed to love me! You're not supposed to accept me! I'm ugly! I'm worthless! I'm useless! Stop it! Stop it!"

I know you believe the words that so many who think they know you and those who don't have said to you. That you aren't attractive, that you have no worth here. But they are far from the truth. You are very beautiful just the way you are, I heard you singing before we talked. You have a very beautiful voice. You defiently have talent, I can see why Mr. Hirosha made the call to make you be the female lead. You aren't useless, you have worth, you have talent.

Rei began to cry as she shook her head holding it. "Please stop! Why? Why are you saying those things! You lie! You're a liar! You don't mean those things to me!"

"I'm also aware that you push people away that want to get to know you that want to be close to you. You think anyone who wants to get to know you and close to you are liars if they can accept you as you are. Hawara Rei-I am no liar. I wish for you to accept me just like I wish to accept you. I wish to fully devote myself to loving and protecting you from here on forth.

Rei was in tears as she heard the male speak "Please...please stop the lies! Y-You can't! You can't love me!"

It might be a lot for you to handle I know, having someone actually love you and not hate you. But I do..I want to be able to. Please...please just give me the chance to accept and love you as you are. I don't care about what the past has brought. I wish to make your future brighter if you allow me to.

Rei was silent as tears ran down her face as she heard him speak. She realized then that there was no way she'd be able to hold herself back anymore. He knew too much about her, there was no way he'd stay quiet about what he knew about her, so she went towards the small light she saw instead of ignoring it like she had been. The light took her back to her body, her body slowly began to twitch even though she couldn't see.

She soon felt as if her hands were being clasped by something or someone.

"Harawa?"

"I...If you want me to accept you as my soul mate...d-don't call me that. C-call me Rei...okay Masato?"

She soon felt a pair of lips on the top of her head. "Very well Rei, thank you...thank you for finally waking up. I've been trying for days to get you to wake up."

"Depression and anxiety really are a bish Masato...b-but why can't I see you?"

"Your eyes were both covered due to what happened to you. The doctor thought it'd be best to cover both of them in case the other got infected as well. 

"I...I'd like to see the handsome male that is my soul mate...I...I don't like the dark that much."

"I'm aware of that. Let me get your doctor alright, I'll be right back."

"O...okay Masato."

she soon didn't feel his hands on hers anymore and heard the door shut, once she was alone she did wonder if she'd be able to see once more. It wasn't long before the doors opened and the bandages were cut from her face. Once they were Rei blinked her eyes a few times.

"How do your eyes feel?" The doctor asked "I did a bit of eye surgery on your eye that was pierced."

"They feel fine, I can see better than I did before. I had contacts in before the incident."

"Oh? So you had prescribed contacts in huh?"

"Mhm, but I don't think I'll need them now. Everything is so clear now....thank you."

"I'm going to check a few things before allowing you to leave alright?"

"Okay."

After Rei's check up she was able to get clothes that were waiting for her on, she realized the clothes that were waiting for her weren't the clothes she had on previously. "W-Who brought these?"

"A girl name Reya who came with your soul mate two days ago. She seemed rather worried about you."

"Rey-rey...I'mma have to thank her."

The doctor left so she could change her clothes before Rei was released from the hospital. Once she was she saw that all of her brothers were in the waiting room as was Masato. She ignored her brothers and went straight for Masato. Masato was stunned to see her out so soon but smiled as he hugged her as he felt her arms go tightly around him. "It's good to see you up and about Rei. How do you feel?"

"Honestly? Rather hungry."
