Hello

Hey Kurai! Here's my entry! Sorry it's a bit late, I was on vacation and didn't have my computer. So, yeah. I don't really know how to do this. :)

My writing style is the same as in Axolotls, since I reserve first person for horror. If I do get horror, then in that case I will probably do first person.

Ex: Cecilia walked down the street, towards her boyfriend's house. It was technically hers too, but ever since he had caught her cheating on him, the tension had been so thick you needed a chainsaw to cut it. If all was well, the air would be clear once again.

The oak door looked foreboding. Cecilia gulped before turning the knob and entering.

"Simon," She called, her voice reverberating off the walls. "I'm home."

"Hey," Simon replied, on the couch. She walked over to the living room, becoming increasingly more nervous.

And that's where that example ends.

  First person example:

I saw the lights of the stars, so many pinpointed above me. It was so cold and so hot, but that was how it always was, after the Incident.

I had always thought that the Incident was a funny name to call it. After all, incident implied something mostly harmless, while the Incident caused the whole world to become a wasteland.

That example ends there. (I never said they would be long.)

The reason I use first person for horror is because, inside the head of the protagonist, you know much less, leading to a better sense of what is going on? So, yeah. That's the writing style done.

  About me:

I'm pretty sure if you're reading this you already know who I am, but in case, I'm Artist! I use she/her pronouns.

  Have a nice time!
