Landon was writing in his notebook about everything on his mind until he heard a knock on his door. "Come in!"
Five came in, "Hey, we gotta go."
Landon was confused but put down his notebook and followed Five. They walked into Klaus' room as he tried to knit. "Hey. Get up. We're going."
"Where?"
"To save the world." Five simply said.
"Oh, is that all? Great." Klaus responded as he rolled out of bed.
"So, Pogo said dad killed himself to get us all back together right?" Five asked, pacing as Landon nodded as he leaned against the wall.
"Yeah, so?"
"So, it got me thinking. Me and Lily had to jump to the future to figure out when it happened, but dad, he can't time travel. So, how'd the crazy bastard actually know how to kill himself a week before the end of the world?"
"Well, you know--"
"Maybe--"
"Don't answer. That was purely rhetorical." Five blankly told them. Klaus just gave him a look while Landon gave him a neutral smile. "Truth is, our whole lives, he's been telling us we'd save the world from an impending apocalypse."
"Yeah, but I always thought he just said that to scare us into doing dishes." Klaus remarked.
"Me too-"
"Wait, what? You guys got that just for dishes?" Landon asked as his brothers turned, "He told me that to scare me by cleaning all the rooms when Grace had broken down that week. Most weren't even that dirty yet he made me clean every hour." He mumbled the last part as he crossed his arms.
"Anyways... but what if the old man really knew it was going to happen?"
"Yeah, but knew how?" Klaus asked, getting up.
"No idea. But the fact remains, his fakakta plan worked. We all came home. We're here, we might as well save the world."
"Oh yeah? What, like, the three of us?" Klaus asked excited.
"Uh, well, ideally, no, but..." They all left the room as they walked into the hallway, "Gotta work with what I've got."
"Ouch." Landon mumbled.
"Sorry." Five told him, shrugging.
"You know I'm more powerful than you." Landon told him as Five sighed. Diego ran down the hallway as they looked at him.
"Where have you been?" Five asked.
"Jail." Landon was shocked as Diego ran into his room as the trio stood on his doorway.
